Cheekha Dar, meaning Black Tent, is the Kurdish name given to the highest mountain on the Iraqi/Iranian border. Its peak sits majestically in an area known for shaping the Earth's stories. The tracks on this EP combine sounds from this region, as well as Asia, delivering 2 versions of the title track for day time and night time adventures. The Day version is a sensual flow, perfect for your sunset. The Night version is not only faster but has intense violin parts, working great to light up the dance floor, as it has been tested since last years festival season. The track 'Be My Baby' is an emotional story using woodwind, guitar and vocal elements. Let the music speak for itself.

Elias Fassos & RisK (GR) is a Greek duo production and djs team. They work together last years based on electronic music scene with influences from ancestral frequencies with house, afro, euphoric rhythms & tribal melodies. 
Elias Fassos has spend 23 years as a dj and has close collaborations with best Greek & international djs. He has also countless residencies and guest appearances, always in top quality bars & clubs.
RisK (GR) (aka Nikos Kouris) is a radio and music producer for over 30 years. For 3 decades is a well known dj for his residencies in the best club of Greece (Athens, Mykonos) and guest in several clubs all over Greece, Cyprus and New York
‘’Kashmir project’’ is their special proposition that brings to the dance floor a mix of spiritual electronic sounds with uptempo house beats.
For the next months they schedule to release several brand new original tracks & remixes that will surprise you.

The streets were my refuge. And no man can understand the glamor of the streets until he is obliged to take refuge in them, until he has become a straw that is tossed here and there by every zephyr that blows. One passes along a street on a wintry day and, seeing a dog for sale, one is moved to tears. Until one notices that there are hotels everywhere, for rabbits, dogs, lice, emperors, cabinet ministers, pawnbrokers, horse knackers, and so on. And almost every other one is an "Hôtel de l'Avenir." Which makes one more hysterical still. So many hotels of the future! No hotels in the past participle, no subjunctive modes, no conjunctivitis. Everything is hoary, grisly, bristling with merriment, swollen with the future, like a gumboil. Drunk with this lecherous eczema of the future, I stagger over to the Place Violet, the colors all mauve and slate, the doorways so low that only dwarfs and goblins could hobble in. Bliz Nochi is the ruler of Place Violet. This is his first offering for Shango Records. These two tracks can save a last dance for you. AmuAmu, Leonor and Da Iguana are dancers of dreams.
