‘Dubbed Out’ EP out November 2014 (VINYL ONLY)

This October will see the return of England’s Luna Records with the ‘Dubbed Out’ EP, a three- track package featuring material from Alexkid, Rogelio and James Hutchison.

The Luna Records imprint was launched in 2009 out of Northern England, and over it’s five years has consistently released striking material, welcoming the likes of Chris Lattner, DJ W!ld, So Inagawa and Matthias Tanzamann onto the imprint. The label’s focus has been split between all original material from exciting new acts, as well as established producers alike, here we see the label push on with three new additions to the roster, welcoming Ovum / Rekids artist Alexkid, and two up and comers, namely Rogelio and James Hutchison.

Opening the release is Alexkid’s ‘Syndicate Dub’, seeing the Parisian artist offer up a bumpy low-slung cut fuelled by crunchy stripped-back drums and penetrating sub hits, laid out over six minutes with subtle nuances to the groove hidden in the depths of the composition.

Following is Rogelio’s ‘Mutombo’, picking up the energy levels slightly with mind-bending synth textures, rumbling low-end tones and murmuring vocal licks, while the jangling percussive sounds and weighty kicks keen things evolving over throughout.

James Hutchison then rounds off the package with ‘Soiree’, tipping the focus over towards organic rhythmic elements to lay the foundations, whilst menacing dub stabs and sweeping atmposherics smoothly unfold as the record progresses.

Luna returns with yet another brilliant club focused EP here, the ‘Dubbed Out’ Various Artists release is out on Luna Records 29th October 2014.

Great Stuff proudly presents volume two of it&#8217;s &#8220;To The Underground&#8221; series. The series features exclusive and never before released tracks. Hand picked with only the dance floor in mind. Tracks that will work crowds and elevate dj sets. 

To The Underground Vol.2 starts off with Matt Sassari&#8217;s &#8220;Sectes Aju&#8221; a marching tech house bomb with a touch of jazz and some super crisp percussion. The chopped up vocals add an extra layer of style!

Next up is David Herrero&#8217;s sleek &#8220;Genoma&#8221;, which is based on a modern, minimalistic house groove and is backed by the usual Herrero sound and effect craziness. Lot&#8217;s of energy is released during the cleverly structured break downs.

All the attention is drawn to the heavy-hitting bassline on Dema&#8217;s &#8220;Shift&#8221;. Deep, energetic and a bit of an acid line floating around in space - just how a great track should be. 

Ibiza&#8217;s Mar-T is going full throttle with &#8220;Filthy &amp; Sticky&#8221;. A big bass drum, bigger spaced out melody patterns and huge break downs are what&#8217;s on the menu today! This will take a bunch of roofs off, we are pretty sure of it.

Nonnus &amp; Porter Rhodes &#8220;Feel So Right&#8221; comes in the form of a stripped down, morphing cutting edge tech - house track. It&#8217;s all about the reverb and the funk filled bass line!

Andrew Fonda is finishing off this fine selection of music with his ever-building &#8220;Acapulco&#8221; piece. The chopped up guitar, smartly positioned throughout the arrangement, will make this tune stick out and your audience go mental.

Premium Mood Series is exclusive VA edition of releases started in 2014. Maxi EP - Compilations are perfect place where Baile tries to present new potential and future forces of label. Fifth edition brings tracks from almost all newcomers on label. Only Da.TO (Daniel Broesecke) and Senoo have already released on label. We are very proud to present super groovie and warm tracks by Kon Ding and Danielle Nicole, strong minimal dance flor shakers from Orlando Tosi & Manuel Pasos and Antony PL & Paul S. Lex & Lamaze have prepared one hilariously interesting and rich track, for which we arent sure into which genre to sort it out. In the end comes Mattia Scolaro with his Clean Sky track, very calm and clean minimal house work for end.

Lyra is DeWaltas fourth large project and third full-length album following Wander in 2012 (on Haunt), llumination in 2014 (on Meander) and Dark Matter in 2017 (on Amphia).

The album consists of two individually available parts: a double LP (Lyra) with 6 tracks on Meander as well as a single LP (Lyra Pi) with 5 synth and ambient works. The Ambient-Part launches a new Meander Horizon Pi series-- a departure from Meander’s well known dancefloor releases.

Lyra is by far DeWaltas most extensive and refined project to date. With 11 exclusive songs, a total running time of over 100 minutes - plus a collaboration with long time friend and Meander co-owner Fabian Geimer-Lorusso aka. Jupiter - it marks a new beginning of ambient and score-like modern works as well as the continuation of his inspired intellectual-emotional approach to dance music.

Lyra is a star-constellation in the northern hemisphere which is highest in the midnight sky in the early summer months. It contains one of the brightest stars in the sky - Vega. Many of the songs on this album were produced in these warm and gentle months during an inspirational creative time in Portugal.

In Greek mythology, Lyra represents the Lyre of Orpheus, Apollo’s son. Made by Hermes from a tortoise-shell, it was given to Apollo who then passed it along to Orpheus. It is said to be the first music instrument ever made.

Lied's debut release brings Robert's "Way of Being" double EP front center stage with a mixed bag of goodies for assorted times.
Beginning with "Skyhaze", which will surely trigger memories of Santana "Soul Sacrifice" at Woodstock 69, with bass guitar and solo to boot, driving through to "Roots", a roboticized peak time mellow-drama. The more after hours friendly "Knock" occupies the back end of the B side with acidic influences entangled with balearic harmonies and silvery grained out melodies.

"Blue Devils" toes the line of it's predecessor with a more bass driven narrative while "Zero Zero" slips into a more atmospheric disguise, finally bringing it home with a "Sneak Peak" into the more minimalistic and syncopated side of Robert, suited best for early hours of the night.
