Producer and multi-instrumentalist Bail Reed is an artist who has captured and mastered a unique style of EDM – one that’s legitimately his own right now. 

Having been a drummer since the tender age of six, then later a guitarist and pianist, Reed’s affinity and passion for music in all of its forms only grew stronger over time. 

Taking to experimenting with electronic sound production in line with acoustic  instrumentation in 2014, his creative freedom opened up a whole new world of audio escapism. In 2016, Reed collaborated with a number of female vocalists to venture out into the world of dance pop, then in 2017 his style flipped right over into dub-step and hybrid trap – eclecticism and versatility becoming increasingly valuable traits of his work. 

As things progressed, Reed spent time studying and practising the art of sound design, toying with synthesisers, and in early 2019 he stepped fully away from his dance pop project and immersed himself entirely in the world of bass music. 

Far from satisfied with purely the creative side, Reed set up a website and resource through which fellow EDM producers could download various sample packs free of charge. Still grinding away behind the scenes though, this October saw the 25 year old release his very first official remix – a brilliantly unique and hard-hitting take on Blvckoutboyzz’ Cigarette. The single showcases his love for bass music and experimentation as much so as his clearly developed and professional approach to sound design. It’s a striking beginning that absolutely marks the start of something big. Watch this space.
