Anlässlich meines 45. Geburtstages, hatten wir die Ehre den Dampfer, an einem Sonntagmorgen im Oktober, musikalisch zu unterhalten.
Dafür wählte ich ein paar meiner engsten Freunde und Wegbegleiter aus. Für 2 von ihnen auch noch eine Dampfer Premiere. Es war einfach nur mega gut und wenn dann das Publikum noch Happy Birthday singt, dann waren alle Emotionen spürbar sichtbar. Danke an das Team vom Sisyphos, das ihr das überhaupt so möglich gemacht habt. Danke an meine musikalischen Begleiter, aber vor allem wie immer die Menschen vor dem DJ , den ohne euch wäre das nicht immer so nachhaltig schön. Bleibt gesund, passt auf euch auf und hoffentlich bis bald.....Cheers Kevin

HAFT, the Iranian duo of Sam Nasehi and Amir Subb, are known for fusing hypnotic synths, deep- rooted pads, and intricate percussion into a sound that bridges traditional textures with modern progressive house. Their debut three-track EP on Balance Music delivers a journey filled with psychedelic undercurrents and shimmering atmospheres that is crafted equally for the dance floor and for deep listening.

The brooding ‘Driftor’ is designed to nudge any DJ set in the right direction. An off-beat bass drives the engine, allowing you to comfortably sit in the pocket of its inviting narrative. Steely drums and percussion form a cohesive frame, while a bag of tasteful effects, samples, and stabs fill the remaining spaces. Once the breakdown hits, in all its subtlety, you know you’re in the hands of professionals. This is essential prog, designed for any occasion.

There is an undercurrent of psychedelia running through ‘Myntal’, hypnotic and consuming. Low- end frequencies double as notes, merging with the bass to create a dizzying effect. Its main-room identity, however, is confirmed by drums that strut forward with propulsive energy. It all points towards a seductive breakdown, its layering teasing a drop that confirms it: this is designed for floors ready to ignite.

Filled with depth, ‘Prism’ shimmers and shakes as synths and stabs perpetually morph. The result is a continuous stream of sonic moments to lose yourself in. Thankfully, the dense bassline and drums bring you back from the edge of hypnosis, filling the space with an elastic energy as buoyant as a trampoline. Then comes the breakdown: bells dissolve into minor-key haze, half beautiful, half surreal: an inviting dream-logic that is hard to deny.
