Carlos de Matos - Euphoria Weekender, Malta 2025

Trance DJ/Producer who's style reflects in his passion for Uplifting & Tech-Trance.

Carlos has been supporting the Trance scene for many years and he’s supported headliners such as, Armin Van Buuren, Paul van Dyk, Allesandra Roncone, Ben Gold and Alex Di Stefano to mention a few.

He’s had the privilege of playing for Trance Sanctuary London on 3 occasions and has also supported events at Electric Brixton, Brixton O2 Academy and the iconic Ministry of Sound.

He’s also had the honour of being an artist for Euphoria Weekender in Malta and he returned in October 2024 after winning a DJ competition for Colour Clash UK; supporting Ben Nicky, David Rust and Billy Gillies.

His first release, “Alkonost”, was signed by German label, D.Max Recordings and it had some fantastic feedback in the scene.

His 2nd track "Gift of Love' was released on the mighty FSOE in 2021 and had huge support from Ferry Tayle, Aly & Fila, Daxson and Giuseppe Ottaviani to name a few.

In 2022 he ventured to the harder side of trance with his alias CDM Projekt. His first release was on the mighty HQ Recordings with “Renaissance” and in 2023 he released “Back to 1991” on Radiation Recordings.

In June 2023 Carlos released “Perpetual Cycle” on Future Force Recirdings, reaching No.22 in the Beatport Trance Hype charts. He followed this up with “Infinite”, which reached No.26 in the Beatport Trance Hype charts.

His last release of 2024 was signed to Juiced Recordings and his track “Longer Strides” reached No.10 in the Beatport Hype charts.

His passion for Trance is evident when behind the decks. His energy is infectious and his love for the genre cannot be fooled.
