After a significant time out for the Four To The Floor brand due to a lack of open dance floors, we have decided to resume the series as an emblem of hope.

Four tracks that carry the sense of longing for the dance floors and the weight of the desire for reunion that has been building up within so many of us.

FTTF18 opens up with Bionick Amisi & Bob The Groove and their „Was It“ - an emotional Melodic House track that has been present in Solomun’s sets before the start of the pandemic. Next is Simon Mós with „Say Something“, a melancholic Microhouse track that features the heartbreaking voice of Curtis James.

Track 3 is „Shadow Dance“ by Eynka wonderful breakbeat symphony laden with moving vocal samples. And closing off the FTTF18 is „Clubs No More“ by Middle Sky Boom, a hypnotic tune that circles your head like a thought you can’t let go - the perfect parable for a DJs mind in lockdown.

Making their debut on Stress Records, London based trio, EYNKA deliver with dreamy electronica two-tracker, ‘Ascendance / Give It Up'.

Eynka is a London based collaboration between brothers Chris and Dave Hall and childhood friend Joshua Field. Their productions fuse techy grooves and emotive melodies, bringing together their passion for analog synthesis and years of classical training adn Despite being new to the scene their music has already gained the support of Solomun, Kölsch and Claptone.

Beyond us is an atmospheric dance tune intertwining heaps of reverb, pads and synths with female vocal layers to create a Bicep style song which evokes emotion and chilled out vibes throughout. EYNKA's musicality shines through in this piece as it builds and each layer combines with one another. With a range of effects, rhythmic leads and simple beat this song is a consumable masterpiece which is fit for your warehouse rave, after party or night time drive.

English composer Data Rebel has been a decorated resident on Silk Music for quite some time, with releases on our imprint dating back to 2014. Likewise, Finnish talent Jani R is a veteran label contributor, whose debut EP with us, "Collision," graced our imprint in 2013 and whose debut album ("Fragile") arrived the following year. Both artists have carved a distinctive musical niche, deliberately eluding the mainstream appeal of more simplistic and template-based styles of electronic music, as their music tends to blur the lines between chillout, downtempo, ambient, and even IDM. Although Data Rebel previously remixed Jani R's "A Thousand Flares" on our imprint, these two extraordinary artists now present their first official collaboration: the cinematic, three-track "Gateways" EP.

His releases have continuously appeared on the Beatport Top 100 across multiple genres including the Electronica Downtempo chart (“Lost City” at #34, “Your Heart I See” at #26, “All That Was” EP at #29), Progressive House chart (“When All Is Said & Done” EP at #10, “Signals” EP at #14) and Melodic Techno chart (“In Time You Will Remember” EP at #17) as well as being supported by artists and brands such as David Hohme, Allies for Everyone, Lucas Rossi and Spotify.

Most recently, his collaboration with Belgium producer, Bigasti was handpicked by Nick Warren to be featured on his Balance pres. The Soundgarden compilation release.

His accolades span across into his DJ sets, described as a true journey through the Deep & Progressive, his storytelling has led him to being handpicked by Lane 8 as supporting act on his “Little by Little” album tour as well as other notable heavyweights in the scene such as Jerome Isma-Ae, Chicane, Karmon, Luttrell, 16BL, Spencer Brown & Yotto.
