This is my 4deck mix (done with flx6gt) for the Liquicity Festival DJ Contest of 2023. I have already some footage recorded in my IG doing one of the parts with 4 CDJs2000 but i'll be uploading more live stuff from the mix doing crazy switches and transitions, so you can appreciate how difficult was to do this, i got holidays at work this week just to do this mix and have been sleeping so few in order to complete this with the quality that I wanted, even investing so much energy I really enjoyed and had so much fun doing this, this mix contains tunes that really were so important for me during this last year and felt really emotional, just wanted to express how I felt with the best liquicity festival vibes on it, The mix has doubles, triples and 1 quadruple drop, 61 tunes in 43 minutes. 

I also want to dedicate this mix to Fin Jones, an awesome guy from Rugby (UK) who had a terrible accident lately and my mixes helped him through his recovery, even though I don't win, THIS IS FOR YOU FIN!!

Every year Drum and Bass just gets better and better. This year I've injected the same amount of Dancefloor love as I normally do. In addition my new-found love for the current sound of jump up, has influenced some sprinkles of jump up in this mix.

Dancefloor Slammers 2023 Yearmix

After 20 years of friendship, @baladnb and I have shared many moments and trips together; some for fun, others chasing Drum & Bass through venues and clubs in Europe.
From Matter London '09 to Liquicity Festival '23. Without forgetting the visits to Barcelona numerous times by the DJs who made me love this, Noisia, Black Sun Empire and Chase & Status with "More than a lot".
A year ago at the door of Liquicity Festival we decided that we wanted to start mixing. Bala has already shown what is cappable of as a DJ, being a great teacher and a best friend.

New Dancefloor Drum and Bass mix played the 23rd of march at another Zerotonine party. This one has some really nice happy vibes mixing tunes to fill your energy and enhance your mood! This one is more chilled than other mixes doing doubles and triples but trying to make the songs breathe a little bit more with more breakdowns.
