Patricia Wolf is a musician, sound designer, and DJ residing in Portland, Oregon. Wolf uses electronics, voice, and field recordings to produce non-linear compositions that draw listeners to a hypnotic inner world. Her use of melody and repetition manipulate the listeners' perception of time, conjuring vivid textures, and atmospheres. Her debut album, I'll Look For You In Others was released in February 2022 on Past Inside The Present and was quickly followed up by her 2nd LP See-Through which was released in May 2022 on the Spanish label, Balmat. We're in love with both releases, and are honoured to have her kick off this broadcast. 

About the mix: "For this mix I wanted to create the feeling of a chill out room. I imagine a big party happening nearby, but it's a bit overwhelming and you need a place to hide out for a while and get centered. I want the listener to find a low lit cozy place to lie down to let the music wash over them. With eyes closed, I want the listener to allow their imagination to paint images of strange and beautiful places to explore."

Here is my guest mix for @refugeworldwide , a new radio station based in Berlin working in solidarity with grassroots and non-profit organisations. They work with a young womxn’s centre, refugee housing support associations, a music school for marginalised persons, social equity groups, homelessness agencies, and a shelter for womxn and young persons fleeing domestic violence. 

The radio station launched a couple of weeks ago and already has a great archive of genre spanning music based shows as well some thought provoking talk radio shows. You should check it out!
