Covering the Earful Of Wax show this month, we have the fabulous Freshta!! ☀️

The West London DJ is known for her dark selection in grime, dubstep, leftfield bass, breaks and hard drums. She shares her sound on her monthly Foundation FM show as well as regular appearances on NTS, where she introduces new radio show concepts to showcase other artists in the scene. You can find her doing sets with heavyweight grime MC’s from the likes of Capo Lee, Killa P, Lioness and Flirta D. 2021 has already seen her on BBC 1xtra and Kiss FM Fest, as well as a feature in Mixmag and her fabric debut representing South Asian underground collective Daytimers coming up on Oct 8th.

Inspired by a rogue tweet, I decided to delve into the back catalogue of Peter Daou, the keyboardist and engineer behind countless 1990s house tracks. Here we have as much as I could reasonably fit into an hour while trying to keep things as smooth and silky as the source material.

Welcome to another experimental journey, crafted in this case by Latmos.

Latmos is a Finnish Techno producer, DJ and live artist, known from his handcrafted and hypnotic tracks. All of his music is made live with hardware only. He first frew attention in the Techno community with his strong debut 12” Pool of Intuition EP, released on Samuli Kemppi’s and Frederik Hatsav’s label Blacklabel Distillery. The music of Latmos has been supported around the globe by well respected DJs like: Oscar Mulero, Dino Sabatini, Dimi Angelis, P.E.A.R.L, Magna Pia, Vincent Neumann, Juho Kusti, Samuli Kemppi, Saphileaum, Justine Perry and Anders Hellberg to name a few.

Deep beats within diverse styles and bpms are to be expected from this eclectic & daring selection, in which he displays diverse styles harmonically blended.
