Deon is a Detroit native whose roots stem from the crates of his mother, father, uncles, & aunties. 
Growing up hearing many different styles of music in the household is the inspiration behind his range of selection. 
Besides playing records, Deon runs events of his own such as the "Black Music: Art & Music Exhibition" as well as the "Healin' Session" party series and his Friday Night Funk monthly party.

Co-host of @socialstudiesnight , the beloved 11-year-running Boston dance music night that showcases inspiring underground DJs. Since joining party founder Alfredo Rico-Dimas in 2019, Azzeddine’s ear for talent has been instrumental in bringing exciting acts. He recently took his soundscapes from Marrakech to Berlin passing through the airwaves of The Lot Radio in New York.
