About the Release:

Soltar y confiar (Let Go and Trust) is the result of an exploratory process that began more than three years ago when I was developing ideas for a live set. What started as a game of looping and trial and error ended up shaping these (and other) songs that have accompanied me for three years and of which I had only released one (Sabor de Jungla), leaving its sisters only in live format. So, after playing them for three years and being able to work on them more calmly between tours, the idea was born to bring them together with Sabor de Jungla on the same EP so that they could be heard together, as they were created. 

The name of the EP has to do with a process I have had to go through as an artist on the path to making myself known, expanding my music and touring abroad, where I have often had to face frustration, anxiety and doubt. Every year I have been working on these concepts until I have been able to feel them more and more. That's why today, when those feelings come, I try to remind myself of those three words almost like a mantra, where I tell myself that everything happens for a reason and that the doors that don't open don't open for a reason and that maybe it's not the right path or the right time, so the only thing left to do is to let go and trust the path.

Neil describes the mix as a selection of recent bangers he was looking forward to hammering out across this year’s festival circuit, unfortunately cancelled due to the C-bomb. We’d describe it as a sublime blend of downtempo arps and off-kilter cosmic disco perfect for dancefloor enjoyment. Lovely stuff.
