Where did you grow up? Was it a single place or many places? How did this influence the songs you listened to?

I grew up in Romulus in the same house for the first 17 years of my life. We moved half a mile when I was a senior in high school, which was liberating and started my nomadic ways that would follow.

Can you pick one song in the mix and explain where you first listened to it?

Jack J - Thirstin is one my favorite songs ever. I was sitting on balcony playing Yahtzee and drinking wine the first time Via my SoundCloud stream.

Who “introduced” you to these songs? Was it a person, a radio station, a CD?

This mix covers a span of probably 10 years so I was introduced to these songs in all different ways.

Where and when did you first hear techno? Who did it sound like it was for?

My older cousin took me and my some other family to DEMF when I was maybe 12 or 13. The music was so different than anything I had spent time listening to, and seeing people who looked like me playing it, my love for music and researching music took it from there.

You’ve got the microphone. What do you want to say?

The world is um…. yea. So cherish the genuine connections you build and spend as much time with those who you love and bring you joy.
