"This full 2hr live recording of Bex's set from the Mantissa 002 launch party at the Hand of Glory (09/04/2022) moves through melodic party groovers, electronic sounds, percussive tracks and rolling breaks. The tracklist was inspired by wanting to celebrate and have fun; including new music aired on Bex's recent radio shows, festival set favourites and a couple from the new Mantissa release.

Bex's selections were underpinned by her belief in music to help us leave our troubles at the dancefloor, playing music that brings her joy. "

Duberman es un artista de origen mexicano afincado en Mataró, una localidad próxima a Barcelona. Su música se caracteriza por moverse entre ritmos lentos con bajos cadentes, acompañados de melodías oscuras y syntes ácidos. Hasta la fecha ha sacado algunas demos en su perfil de SoundCloud y a grabado sesiones para diferentes radios del mundo.
Las influencias en su estilo musical y referencias viene de artistas como: Burial, John Talabot, CPI, PYE corner, Depeche Mode y muchos más....

If there was a Prince of Deptford, he’d rule his glorious kingdom from The Birds Nest pub, drinking cans outside with his subjects before retiring to his Royal Barge on the Great Surrey Canal. But as it is, Prince of Deptford (who is not the Prince of Deptford, keeping up?) currently lives in Berlin, a city that doesn't hate anyone out after 10pm.

PoD, aka Daniel Cherney, joins the dots between his former South-East London home, his current Germanic residence, and East London party central (global pandemic permitting) Dalston, where he co-runs the night Happy Endings – which also has an accompanying radio show.


Inside this scalene triangle of geo-musical influence is a swirl of minimalist techno, acid electronics, vocodered Italo and industrial broken beats. And at its centroid is Unsustainable, Cherney’s label born this year to provide a home for like-minded artists, as well as his own music, previously released on labels Squareglass, Sonic Moire and Verlag. 

Factor in one more line to join up FM, where he’s served as part of the team ensuring the party runs smoothly, and you’ll briefly glimpse a four-sided triangle – the god particle of polygons.
