From time to time it feels like a dream. The big boys are playing his records and the party goes on and on. David Jach is no longer one of those DJs…He found his way, his style and works steadily on his magic. Since years, his records are lauded, and his tour schedule is heavy these days. Jach represents a new generation of musicians, who rely on their own feelings rather than on the “great hypes”. And still, his sound somehow manages to sneak in between the almost identical sounding tracks of the Beatport Top20. However, David Jach does not only count on his vinyl productions but also on his live qualities. The freshness of his performance is catching and evokes an almost romantic picture of perfect Open-Air-Days and Club nights. Colourful, slightly soaked with minimal-house and deep sound elements, always a bit nostalgic but at the same time several steps ahead of the usual bubbling techno-releases.

Nick Curly is one of our favourite artists, he has never disappointed with his epic signature sound and grooves that he successfully delivers with every release and set. Nick succeeded to offer us a unique musical experience for a decade since he announced himself on the international stage, and the Mannheim artist remains very much at the heart of the scene. 

His music does not follow any trends – Nick Curly is constantly innovating in the studio, subtly evolving his sound and serving up forward thinking sets around the world, he has continued to establish his 8Bit label as one of the most influential out there. 

Recent years have also seen Nick branch out with Trust, his own carefully curated event series. Each one finds him play in handpicked locations around the world from Sonus Festival to Watergate, Mint Club in Leeds to The Bow in Buenos Aires via BPM Festival, Fabric and Razzmatazz and ZT Hotel, Barcelona. Playing with him are a choice selection of his friends and peers and each party allows dancers deep into Nick Curly’s musical world.

Back at the start of his career, Nick held down some key residencies which helped honed his craft in the DJ booth. It means he is able to play to a small and intimate club as well as connect with larger audiences at outdoor stages. That is reflected in his productions, which always find new life in tech house grooves and continue to keep dancers dancing and DJs in supply of dance floor dynamite. Proof of that comes from the fact he is never far away from the top of various online charts or the most charted section of online bible Resident Advisor. 

What we love and admire about Nick Curly - is his genuine passion and aspirations that he developed since a very young age: to make music that connects with people. He is still driven by sharing feelings and emotions with anyone who will listen and that's what makes him a real artist. Nick believes in quality over quantity and he only puts things out that feel truly special to him.  We are beyond happy to share this mix he recorded for Deep House Barcelona which proves all of the mentioned above. Enjoy this seductive and infectious tech house mix with hypnotic grooves that he recorded for us, when it was most needed... What a journey!
