Following their standout contribution to the Ensemble II compilation, this two-track release resonates with the cycles of nature and the vastness of the cosmos.

The artwork, when seen from afar, resembles delicate feathers — a nod to the light, ethereal quality of the title track, Rhea. Upon closer look, it reveals intricate snowflake patterns, perfectly capturing the EP’s blend of warmth from Rhea and cosmic chill from Tife.

The track ''Rhea'' shines like light reflected on frosted surfaces, carrying a gentle yet expansive energy. It’s a piece that feels airy and reflective, while the cooler tones of ''Tife'' evoke the crisp night beauty of winter, laced with cosmic elements.

Barbero and Kimao’s ability to weave such contrasting yet harmonious textures creates an experience that feels both grounded and otherworldly with its intricate details and soundscapes showing in that EP.

The enigma that is Township Rebellion will be heading down under for their debut Australian appearance. The German-born duo, who have been working collaboratively since 2013, has been flying under the radar for years now, but recently they have started to turn some heads with their carefully executed main room sound that has found favour with a global audience. 

Already this year they have worked their magic on punters at Fusion and Unterholz Music Festivals, and their latest EP, the deliciously titled ‘Balance', is a perfect example of the Township Rebellion sound: affecting progressive melodies and big deep basslines that is undeniable. As their career rapidly continues on an upward trajectory, now is the time to join the Rebellion.

Lexer is a young man from the eastern part of Germany. It`s very tough to present his music in his home area. It´s a new style of deep and melancholic pop music and everyone is touched by his special way to produce and play this music. He is from a new generation of DJ´s who grow up with soundcloud, facebook and youtube. Alex aka Lexer is moving very fast and so it´s right to say: he is heading for a great future.

I was asked recently if I'm always playing the same tracks during weeks and I was thinking about this question. Well, of course not. But it depends! As a DJ you are flexible and can play whatever you want, however your mood is. But I'm not changing my playlist 100% every weekend. So it's always like this: few new tracks were added to my playlist, few tracks went out. For this gig in Toulouse I had the pleasure to play the sunset. So I started with melodic and deep tracks, ending with more progressive and dark stuff. Finally it's all about how I feel it. 

Just a little insight. :-)

On September 28, 2019, @OliverSchories brought scintillating deep house grooves to energize The King’s Hall at Cityfox TRANSCEND 2019, the Brooklyn Mirage closing event. His cavernous, yet gritty drumbeats, shoulder-jumping melodies, and layered samples woven beneath funky synths on full display!

Since infiltrating and exciting the electronic scene in The Netherlands post-debut album release,’Herzensangelegenheit in 2011, Schories — a now celebrated German born-and-bred DJ and producer has been busy, focused, and consistently committed to releasing coherent, quality work spanning seemingly uncorrelated genres and decades and playing the worldwide stage from festivals to underground clubs. His most recent EP is the impressive, fifth studio-album release ‘Blitzbahn,' dropped in March 2018.

Oliver's formative adolescent years were spent listening to rock legends like the Credence Clearwater Revival and The Beatles. He attended his first electronic music nightclub when he was 15 years old, fell in love with the record ‘Experience’ by The Prodigy and still sites his early introduction to fellow hometown hero, Stephan Bodzin as being the pivotal moments that cemented his love for the genre he’s heavily influencing today.

In this mix, you can hear the appreciation for the popular whining harmonies of guitar strings and vocal samples creating a lyrical rhythm beneath a sometimes haunting and sometimes hopeful sustaining house beat.
