D.H.U.B, aka Jonathan Dubé, is a Montreal-based DJ with a deep passion for underground electronic music. His journey began in 2013 when a friend introduced him to the scene, taking him to a Sasha gig. That night was a turning point—he instantly fell in love with progressive house.

Driven by curiosity, he immersed himself in discovering new DJs and producers from around the world. By 2015, his passion led him to start DJing, determined to share the music that inspired him.

D.H.U.B crafts hypnotic mixes, blending groovy rhythms, deep basslines, and bold synths with well-balanced breakdowns—always keeping the energy flowing and the crowd moving.

Carina Lawrence is a Melbourne-born DJ and producer now based in London, where she has become a steady presence in the city’s underground electronic scene. Her sets draw on melodic elements, tribal-leaning rhythms, and a wide range of influences, shaped by a careful and considered approach to building atmosphere.

Her debut solo release, No Quit, on Mobilee’s Zoom Vol.1 received support from established names including Sasha, John Digweed, and Yotto, while her follow-up EP, Love Language, on TalkTalk Records reached the top ten of Beatport’s indie dance Hype chart shortly after its release. With upcoming shows that include a slot at Balance Croatia in 2026, she continues to develop her sound and presence on dance floors in the UK and beyond.

For her Balance Selections mix, the Australian ex-pat showcases a diverse sound rooted in progressive influences. Featuring tracks from Enamour, Budakid, Ezequiel Arias, and more, this 90-minute mix offers a thoughtfully crafted journey through a melodic world.

In 2006, when the borders of progressive house were starting to blur and music started melting into the digital sphere, Balance 010 arrived with almost monastic ambition. A three-disc journey mixed by Jimmy Van M, the release cut against the pace of its moment: patient, structured, emotionally articulate, and stubbornly uninterested in chasing trends. It didn’t shout for attention. It didn’t try to out-shine the giants of the series. Instead, it built something more durable, a slow-burn statement that critics recognised as one of the era’s most meticulous experiments in long-form storytelling.

"This mix is my expression of melodic Afro House at its most emotional. I built it around warm grooves, textured percussion, and uplifting melodic lines that evoke nostalgia and feel-good energy. The intention was to create a journey that connects on a deeper level, the kind of mix you can close your eyes to and genuinely feel. I also included a few familiar commercial remixes to add touches of nostalgia and broaden the experience, blending recognisable melodies with Afro-driven rhythms and atmospheric transitions. It is a mix designed to make you move, but also to make you feel."
