Get You The Moon (Dreamwave Mix)

As we all know, it’s quite an intense time at the moment, and so I wanted to make music to help relax not only myself but anyone who listens to it. Taking trips to the coastal areas around Northern Ireland played a big part in what inspired this track. There’s just something about looking out towards the sea and hearing the waves crashing, it’s very comforting during times like these. I also get a sense of hope when i’m by the sea and so that’s why I decided to name my first track ‘Velvet Ocean’. To anyone who listens, thank you! I hope you enjoy it.

Velvet Ocean

This was one of the first tracks I made at the start of the pandemic whenever I was figuring out how to cope with what was happening around the world. I would just walk around the empty city listening to music with no destination. I discovered a few new nice walking routes though haha

I decided to call the track 'Golden Mile' as that was the name given to the stretch of road from Queen's University, down the Dublin Road and along Great Victoria Street in the centre of Belfast because it was the busiest spot in the city at the time. It was strange walking through it and not a soul in sight, but I'm looking forward to the day it's back in action! 🍻🍻

I took this photo for the artwork a couple weeks back at the beach down in Hollywood. I feel it works well for the track title as I also like to think of the 'Golden Mile' as a long stretch of beach 🏖️

Golden Mile

I haven't really been sleeping well at all this year. So one night around 3 or 4am knowing that I wouldn't be able to get to sleep, I decided to just get up and start working on a track. The opening lead synth melody is what I came up with and so I decided to build the track around that.

After taking a recent trip to the beach and walking through it at night, it inspired me to finish off the track and call it Night Waves.
