What we look for in a good Bassline banger, is that pure, raw energy, which MONSS clearly has bags of, laced throughout this entire composition. This record is a dispatch from the event-horizon of existence—an auditory document of the universe at thermal dusk, rendered in the vocabulary of neo-trance and post-rave futurism. Its pulse is the afterimage of a cosmos cooling toward silence; its melodies are the last coherent patterns before symmetry collapses. Yet, embedded in the euphoric strain of its synthwork is the countercurrent: the quiet, insistent algorithm that refuses the final drift into equilibrium.

Drawing from ’90s/’00s euro-trance, cyber-trance revivalism, Y2K techno, glitch-techno, and J-trance, the album treats these genres not as nostalgia but as semiotic tools—interfaces for expressing cosmological tension. Breakbeat fractures mimic decaying spacetime; hard-NGR surges feel like energy flares from dying white dwarfs; hyperspeed arpeggios simulate the frantic last computations of an intelligence refusing cosmic stagnation. At times, the production approaches something like ecstatic austerity: maximalist in structure, but never indulgent; melodic, but sharpened to an edge.

As always here at The @3000network, we are looking to do things a little bit different, as we now move into our latest remix EP, showcasing a selection of top quality reworks around NeryVice’s epic ‘Take On The World’ original.

Earlier in the year, this release was the talk of the town, which is why we decided to do something special when building this remix collection, in the form of a live remix competition, streamed out across our Facebook page with our resident review-master: KXVU in the hotseat.

From our submissions, he selected two top quality recreations to bring onto
the EP’s tracklisting, with Dynascope’s pungent, heavily processed 4x4 switch up and MKII’s breaksy beef up. As well as these, Arc Nade provides us with a sizzling, dance-floor ready rework, followed by Nekst & Re-Flex, who bring the track into a whole new realm with their reesey revamp. Finally, Neryvice himself returns for a highly energised VIP mix of the track to round off the tracklisting, making this one of our favourite full length projects we have released in a hot minute!

The VIP mix will be added to the EP once the original mix reaches 20,000 plays on Soundcloud.
