Our first release from 2009. Sublime Balearic remix of the Radiohead classic. Released as a limited edition of 500 1-sided 12" singles in hand screen printed sleeves.
This was one of the few remixes/re-edits that made it into the top of the DJ History end of year chart.

Our second release on Fascinating Rhythms will be this Balearic double header. 
Leo Elstob a.k.a. Leo Zero need no introduction. His remixes include last years epic reworkings of Jack Penate and Florence & The Machine, and more recently he's worked his magic on Paul Weller and Frankie Goes To Hollywood. Here he transforms Sam's acoustic original into a chugging, footstomping, sing-a-long Balearic end-of-night-anthem. Think The Beatles 'Baby You're A Rich Man' meets The Aliens "Robot Man", with a subtle hint of (and don't let this put you off) Wonderwall! I've played this at parties all over the world in the last year and the reaction has been phenomenal.

James' Begin project has just released his first EP, the sublime Optical Holiday EP on his own label. Here he applies that subtle, euphoric Begin sound to the mix, which is destined to be the soundtrack to all your sunsets this summer.

The next release on Fascinating Rhythms brings together two very different tracks by two incredible artists, but both touched by the creative genius of Norwegian Balearic legend Rune Lindbæk.

This side sees him work his magic on Sophie Zelmanis beautiful acoustic folk-pop, taking it on a psychedelic journey into blissed-out, Balearic sunset territory.

Sophie Zelmani - If I Could (Version Lindbæk)

The next release on Fascinating Rhythms brings together two very different tracks by two incredible artists, but both touched by the creative genius of Norwegian Balearic legend Rune Lindbæk.

This track is a re-working of a track by a man who's Balearic credentials were well established way back in the 80's as part of Swiss pop group Double. Their Captain Of Her Heart was a huge European pop hit, but tracks like Woman of The World have firmly established them as favourites with DJs such as Harvey, who included it on his Sarcastic Disco mix.

The original comes from Kurts most recent solo LP Summer Of Better times on the Verve Forecast label, and in it's original is a beautiful slice of guitar led, Jazz-tinged summer pop music. Rune has upped the tempo and added some tough electronics, while retaining some of the original instrumentation and of course Kurts dreamlike sublime vocals, to turn this into a Balearic flavoured House track of gigantic proportions.

All in all we're very proud of our next release. We hope you like it as much as we do.
