After the success of Gems Pt. 1 and Gems Pt. 2, Plaisirs Sonores Records proudly continues its acclaimed compilation series with the release of Gems Pt. 3.

This latest chapter once again delivers a carefully curated selection of forward-thinking progressive house cuts, showcasing the depth and diversity of the global scene.

The compilation opens with Lucas Zárates Secrets, a track that blends organic grooves and emotive melodic layers, weaving an inspiring and powerful soundscape. With its hypnotic flow and standout melodies, it sets the tone for a journey filled with movement and drive.

Next, Tiefstone and CAMILA (AR) deliver The Void, a collaboration that shines through its arpeggiator, pulsing rhythms, and atmospheric tension. Both artists bring their strengths to create a track that feels equally driving and propulsive—perfect for peak-time dancefloors.

Closing the compilation, Paul (AR) and Dhany G return with Ashes, a deep and emotionally charged piece. With intricate melodies and layered textures, the track offers a cinematic progression that resonates long after the final note.

Dutch veteran producer Joost van der Vleuten, better known as Namatjira, delivers a crisp three-track EP on Paul Hazendonk's Manual Music imprint, under its MNL sub-label. This release marks another chapter in his long-standing dedication to the progressive house sound. 

Featuring three brand-new original compositions, 'Darien,' 'Distinctness,' and 'Chaco' , the EP showcases Namatjira's signature melodic depth and refined production, continuing his trusted tradition in the genre. Munich-based label Plattenbank Music presents its new release, a collaborative project between Maze 28 and Aman Anand.

Maze 28 is the moniker of Albanian producer and DJ Mario Zefi, and Aman Anand hails from Bangalore, India, where he has steadily built a reputation as a forward-thinking artist in the underground circuit. Both have carved distinct spaces within the melodic and progressive electronic music scene.

The opener, Dreamspace, unfolds with patient momentum. Layers accumulate gradually, interwoven with subtle ethnic inflections that stretch beyond conventional genre boundaries. Percussive details, shakers, and open hi-hats lend a tactile quality, while the saxophone, introduced with restrained melancholy, becomes the track’s defining voice.

The second track, Night Lights, takes a different route, creating a hypnotic environment where shifting layers evoke a sense of transcendence. The piece is a meditative projection balancing new sonic ideas with a touch of nostalgia.

Maze 28 and Aman Anand show respect for tradition while exploring new ideas. Their debut on Plattenbank is a release that deserves attention and repeat listens.
