Staying in ‘The America’s’ for our next release, we head south, back to Buenos Aires, Argentina the South American nerve centre and heartbeat of Progressive House. 

There we are thrilled to welcome this next pair of artists to the onedotsixtwo family, Maximo Gambini & Q.A.T aka Leandro Maldonado.  These two very bright rising stars of the global progressive scene have been on fire of late with a string of remixes that have been getting regular plays on Hernan Cattaneo’s Resident show as well as his club and festival shows worldwide. This is their first original EP as a duo with both artists having had great success on labels such a Sound Avenue and One of a Kind. 

The lead track ‘Stochastic Process’ is a beautifully crafted melodic journey of sound that builds into a melancholic breakdown before the large drop, enough to make any dancefloor swing sideways. ‘One Sided Thoughts’ takes the path of a more hypnotic journey that weaves a softy gated vocal and smooth pads and effects with a whirring baseline that kicks like mule. 

On remix duties we welcome back long-time label afficionado Weird Sounding Dude who has applied his meticulous sound design to ‘Stochastic Process’ keeping true to the original whilst adding his signature sound, and Turkish artist Hakan Onuzur, who after a short musical hiatus is back in the studio, has a delivered an amazing interpretation of ‘One-Sided Thoughts’ showcasing to everyone, that he’s an artist who should be on your radar.

A Dutch master provides a new interpretation of purpose and intent as familiar melodic phrases filter through Alex O'Rion's "Tejomaya". Subtle references to "Tejomaya" reveal themselves at the mid-point in spiralling delays and recognisable motifs. From the edge of the Persian Gulf, Paul Hamilton charts a path through the familiar waters where tumbling melodies flow in rivulets that shimmer and shake in sonic glory. Anchored by chest-thumping kick and head-nodding hi-hats, sultry rhythms showcase a glistening new edifice.

Alpine craftsmanship combines with Argentinean talent as The Wash and Ric Niels provide a new global partnership between Europe and South America. Through "Argaut", flexible rhythmic grooves ease their way atop throbbing beat and urgent bassline whilst silky pads add counterweight. Striking arp phrasing melts into hypnotic patterns before "Remote Madness" find a way to back to lucidity. A meteor-sized kick thumps its way across the plains; from Höflein to Tres Isletas where acid sequences morph across the sonic landscape, pausing for breath in a serene breakdown. Sitting as one of Brazilian premiere progressive house talents, receiving play and support from the genre's premiere tastemakers, with his groovy, hypnotic and emotional music, Transensations Records proudly welcomes LUCIANO SCHEFFER for his debut EP on the label.

After a stunning remix to GORKIZ and K LOVESKI - Arboreal track previously released, Luciano returns with a Masterpiece EP entitled 'SAUDADE'.

The first track "Saudade", is a very special track, dedicated to Luciano's father, presents his sound signature, a perfect match between his progressive minded groove and layers of driving percussion, plus a warm and breezy overlays filled with emotion, creating a track to delight dance floors. Second track "Boreal" follows suit and is well in line with the previous track, with a hypnotic groove and melody, tight and rhythmic in all the right ways; wavy arps set the course for aural enlightenment.

The release concludes with an "Intro" version of Boreal, a gift for DJ's, from this highly talented artist who continues to be one of Brazilian's most renowned progressive house producers.
