Nikko.Z's Dopamine White caps off a great year by welcoming Zuccasam to the label for his debut EP. Hailing from the UK, Zuccasam first emerged in May of this year with a release via new imprint Electric Eden Records. Immediately recognized for his groovy melodic take on progressive house, the London resident would go on a creative swell across the next six months, releasing follow-up projects for Electric Eden, while also adding Distant Desires, Nightcolours and Night Light Records to his resume. Now, capping off what has been a great first year, Zuccasam debuts on Dopamine White with a three-track showcase entitled 'Island Smile'. Zuccasam continues to explore modern progressive house sensibilities on the lead selection 'Island Smile'. Muscular and energetic, it's a framework of powerful kick drums and chunky bass tones which lay the foundation for gritty percussion, squelchy stabs and orbiting effects to create an intense first act. Free-form melodies take centrestage across the break, bringing with them a euphoric, otherworldly feel, furthering Zuccasam's potency as an artist, and perfectly setting the course for a huge peak-time finale. Selection two is the equally impressive 'Laser Break' which takes square aim at a main room dancefloor once again. As an apt barometer of where Zuccasam's headspace is at, it's a selection of shapely grooves, effervescent percussion and misty melodies which elevate the mood set by its predecessor. Energies shift and emotion rises as the interlude takes shape, with broken beats, swirling atmospheres and emotive melodies tastefully building tension towards a finale that is sure to cast a spell over the listener. The space-dance foray 'Feartone' follows and further cements Zuccasam's dancefloor minded ethos. Its rolling drive is anchored by rocketing beats and a forest of robust percussive splashes, tastefully building to a wild-eyed intensity of percolating rhythms, gated vocals and panning effects. With an energy that exudes confidence, Zuccasam pulls from his expansive repertoire as the main break takes shape, surveying a tense and calculated build, as melodies dance and shimmer, ultimately peaking with a powerful drop for the ultimate rush to round out the EP in style.

Our aim is to unite talents of the progressive house sound from the Balkan region and the world over, from established names to upcoming talents, on the way to conquer the world stage of electronic music. Carefully selected music under the supervision of the Balkan Connection manager have made this label as one of the best and most established music brands worldwide!

Over the years, 530+ releases came out, featuring various artists and various genre's, with the biggest focus on progressive house.  We had a pleasure to work with over 800 amazing artists from around the world.
