After the success of Gems Pt. 1 and Gems Pt. 2, Plaisirs Sonores Records proudly continues its acclaimed compilation series with the release of Gems Pt. 3.

This latest chapter once again delivers a carefully curated selection of forward-thinking progressive house cuts, showcasing the depth and diversity of the global scene.

The compilation opens with Lucas Zárates Secrets, a track that blends organic grooves and emotive melodic layers, weaving an inspiring and powerful soundscape. With its hypnotic flow and standout melodies, it sets the tone for a journey filled with movement and drive.

Next, Tiefstone and CAMILA (AR) deliver The Void, a collaboration that shines through its arpeggiator, pulsing rhythms, and atmospheric tension. Both artists bring their strengths to create a track that feels equally driving and propulsive—perfect for peak-time dancefloors.

Closing the compilation, Paul (AR) and Dhany G return with Ashes, a deep and emotionally charged piece. With intricate melodies and layered textures, the track offers a cinematic progression that resonates long after the final note.

Lucas Zárate - Secrets (Extended Mix)

An artist who has consistently delivered a plethora of progressive gems to the Proton Music catalogue, Dmitry Molosh returns once more with a new track, "Color". First finding his way to Proton via a remix of Navid Mehr in late 20216, further reworkings for the likes of Pete K, Trilucid and Kastis Torrau followed before 2020 saw a debut original track, courtesy of "Little Friend". "Winds of Change" and "River Pond" followed in 2021 with a fourth, "Station", in March 2024. All four tracks have included high-profile remixes from the likes of Matter, Nicolas Rada, Kobana and LADS, while a fifth now adds to that portfolio. Full of trademark dynamic energy, "Color" opens with a clicking, popping percussive groove, given additional urgency by rapid-fire hats and shakers. Building through its phases, a panoply of production material is added via hefty bassline and smooth melodic touches. Heading into a gorgeous breakdown of growing vibrancy, a drop at the 5-minute point creates a stunning dancefloor destroyer that brings together the various motifs and effects into a rousing final movement of energy and sonic colour.

A Proton Music debutant, Hobin Rude is no stranger to the Progressive House scene with his work for the likes of Mango Alley, Meanwhile and Alex O'Rion's Solis Records. More than 300 production credits have thus hit the underground dance industry's finest imprints through Hobin's "search for deeper meaning" and music "anchored in rhythm, propelled by intricate textures", lingering "in the dark where mystery reigns." Reworking Dmitry Molosh, the Hobin Rude remix is characterised by all that the Serbian holds dear, as a deep, dark and mesmerising groove builds effortlessly across its 7-minute duration. Familiar melodic themes from "Color" delicately emerge while an array of subtle textures wash over the listener in sonic waves. Hitting the heights post-breakdown, a powerful new bassline-patterns provides cone-melting gravitas as melody and driving rhythm create an impressive debut.

First hitting the headlines in Paris via a 2018 remix for Andre Sobota, Rokazer has been a mainstay of the Progressive House scene in recent years. Never short of offers from some of the most high-profile independent imprints, work for Colorize, Click Records, and Paul Thomas' UV Noir and Pattern has created a portfolio that includes some 200 production credits and counting. Finding his way onto Proton Music after his "Pulsar / Machine / Particle" caught the attention of label director, Jay Epoch, the Rokazer remix sees the French producer create a powerful interpretation characterised by chest-thumping beat and clever reimagining of the central melody into a fizzing lead pad. Developing in hypnotic fashion, an array of rhythmic characters adds to the aural melange with a searing lead opening up at the breakdown alongside a smooth arp. Finding its way back into the vibrant rhythmic structure of earlier phrasing, the new melodic elements make their presence felt with elements from the original "Color" never far away.

A new track from Dmitry Molosh, combined with remixes from Hobin Rude and Rokazer, has created a new and vivid "Color" palette on Proton Music.

Spanish producers Adrien Rux & Bedmar have joined forces with David Tuck and Kuaigon to create their brand-new progressive anthem ‘Set Me Free’. The track is out now via Steve Angello’s renowned SIZE Records label.

  ‘Set Me Free’ is a deep and rumbling progressive house production, utilises an atmospheric build and emotive vocals to create a thumping release which would feel equally at home on festival main-stages or spreading across club dancefloors.   

Having previously worked with Bedmar and Swedish producer Sebjak on their collaboration ‘Last Summer’, Adrien Rux’s connection with music began at an early age, when his experimentation with synths led him to start writing his own songs. Recently, Adrien and Bedmar remixed Corey James & Marcus Schossow’s single ‘Time Goes By’, the Spanish duo were the subject of high acclaim for their role in the production. 

  Joining the duo on ‘Set Me Free’ are rising DJ’s David Tuck and Kuaigon, who have previously teamed up on their single ‘Ko’ De Cat’. Mostly inspired by the Dirty Dutch and Swedish House movements, Kuaigon kicked off his music career aged 13 by learning how to mix and produce his original material. His tracks have gained support from the likes of Dannic, Breathe Carolina and Will K to name a few.

  Adrien Rux & Bedmar, David Tuck, Kuaigon are a part of a new wave of leading progressive house producers to come from Spain in recent times. A unique and dynamic blend between all four artists’ own talents, individually, and as a collective, ‘Set Me Free’ is the perfect soundtrack to round off the year and cements all four DJ’s as artists to watch for 2018.

Over the years, 530+ releases came out, featuring various artists and various genre's, with the biggest focus on progressive house.  We had a pleasure to work with over 800 amazing artists from around the world.
