My real name is Ariel Gandolfo, from Buenos Aires, Argentina.
Im an autodidact artist, usually working under the alias Nicholas Van Orton.

Coming from Buenos Aires, Argentina, Ariel first got involved with music at the age of 16. Ten years later, after recording three studio albums with the band "il phantasmo" (Smokinghome Records, 1999, 2001 and 2003), he decided to work as a solo artist producing dance tracks under the alias Nicholas Van Orton. 

His tunes had a great welcome at the house music scene, and are supported by many international and local DJs such as Hernan Cattaneo, Sasha, John Digweed, Nick Warren, Patrice Baumel, Steve Lawler to name a few.

Ariel has firmly established also as a DJ, touring around America and Europe, performing both DJ gigs and live acts, where he includes his latest works and remixes. Since 2009, Nicholas Van Orton also runs Balkan Connection South America record label for Proton Music, getting massive support from mainstream DJs.

Encyclopedia was founded in 2021. Since its creation, the artistic direction has been driven by the design and creation of visual and musical supports. Encyclopedia's activity is mainly focused on the promotion and distribution of DJ artists in the world of progressive house Organic House & Progressive. In three years, more than 250 artists have emerged, totaling more than 600 mixes around the world (England, Germany, Italy, Hungary, Spain, Portugal, Brazil, Argentina, Chile, Israel, Turkey, etc.) and great artists of Progressive House and Progressive.

Encyclopedia also deploys a wide range of artistic interventions, which aim to share the different facets and singularities of our concept. Initially, the ARAWAK project is part of this dynamic and made it possible to set up the first electronic digital festival, in collaboration with Bianco Vargas dj living in Brazil, with whom we had been working since the first season. ARAWAK is a very innovative concept, and counts among its DJs: Bianco Vargas, Marttinez, ZANELL, Carmee, Kaito Aman, Fabiano Feijô, Glamour's Joint, Luciano Scheffer, Marcelo Strega, Carlos Tk, Patrick Medina, Bohnen, Lenharo, Sebastian Portman & Rgn.
In the following seasons were guests (Korb, Grife, Isadora, Leozinho, Long Brothers, Caio Endi, Leila Scheiwe, Halaros, Tonaco, Murilo Damasio, Carla Cimino, Kotsi & Anhert, SARAH CHILANTI). Encyclopedia does everything possible to ensure that ARAWAK has incredible visuals and great promotion broadcast on all streaming platforms such as Spotify, Soundcloud, Mixcloud, Instagram, Facebook, Twitter & Youtube.

Encyclopedia as a broadcaster has put together other playlists like Voyager, Mesopotamia, Destination and Monophony that you can discover on streaming platforms. After 3 years of development in Montpellier in France, Encyclopedia is in full evolution and created with Aglaia Rave a solid and professional collaboration on the creation & cooperation of the Encyclopedia Edition radio.

Ogi Gee Cash decided to launch label based on popular radio show, The Balkan Connection on Proton Radio. Since late 2009, label is being managed by Milos Miladinovic.

Balkan Connection is one of the best digital music labels on the planet, respectively the best Eastern European label too. Our aim is to unite talents of the progressive house sound from the Balkan region and the world over, from established names to upcoming talents, on the way to conquer the world stage of electronic music. Carefully selected music under the supervision of the Balkan Connection manager have made this label as one of the best and most established music brands worldwide!

Over the years, 530+ releases came out, featuring various artists and various genre's, with the biggest focus on progressive house.  We had a pleasure to work with over 800 amazing artists from around the world.
