This November, Ruede Hagelstein steps up to remix a Sawlin single that featured on the fantastic recent Berlin Gets Physical compilation.

The original version from techno mainstay and Delsin regular Sawlin was one of the standout tracks of the mix, and is presented here in original format. It is a superbly deep and dubbed out techno track that sinks you into its echoing hits and rolling kick drums and keeps you there for the duration.

Ruede Hagelstein, meanwhile, is part of the German underground thanks to forward thinking releases on the likes of Souvenir and Watergate. This marks his debut on Get Physical and finds him reinterpret the original with a unique style of his own. He flips the track into a mysterious and rolling affair with plenty of warmth from the pillowy kick drums and an intriguing lead flute line that charms you and
takes you on a real journey.

These are two terrific tracks, each with their own identity and indelible impact.

Not only the aspiring era of electronic music in the 90s, but also the passion for electronic sounds guided his way behind the domestic decks early on. The fire of an intimate relationship with electronic music has definitely been boosted by this. So it should not take long before the passion for mixing and djing led to various own party series as well as to a residency in a club in his city of birth Göttingen. Other stations followed, such as a weekly show at the online radio We-love-house.fm, or various gigs, for example in the legendary Stammheim Kassel, the Warehouse in Cologne or the JuicyBeats Festival in Dortmund. In his adopted hometown Hamburg, Herr Oppermann is a regularly act in the local clubs of the city as well as a co-partner of the Hamburg based podcast series „Klangextase“.
As a DJ, Herr Oppermann transforms his dedication to music to the audience, combining classic and modern elements of electronic music. His style describes a varied journey between deep, minimalist elements and Tech – House, turning each of his sets into a journey of sound with a lot of variety.
With the first release on his home label “Tach & Nacht” he also showed his producer skills, in which he has created his very own interpretation of the Dead End EP by I‘m Frost.

Matthias Meyer and Ryan Davis re-link for another superb outing on Watergate.

If you know, you know. Matthias Meyer and Ryan Davis make sweet music together, like Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie once made babes. Tunes that melt you into the floor and roll dancefloors from Tulum to Tblisi. Their debut collaboration ‚Hope‘ was a dawning highlight of 2017 and Beatport Deep House no.1, while ‚Love Letters from Sicily‘, was a lustrous late summer anthem, reinforcing their knack for the sublime.

Their latest opus ‚Crying Juno / Cafuné‘ begins where its predecessors left off, taking life after Matthias and Ryan exchanged ideas back and forth over a period of months before finally settling in the former’s Holzmarkt studio in Berlin to finish giving the tracks their form. Together they’ve crafted a masterful yin and yang between joy and melancholy. ‚Crying Juno‘ is the buoyant leader, propelled by an insistent groove and ‘80s synths, both bittersweet and undeniably uplifting. ‚Cafuné‘ continues with the orchestral themes that gave us ‚Hope‘, as sweeping strings and keys swell over a bed of delicate percussion, gradually building into a delicious groove.
