For FOA094 we invited the label's favourite artists to collaborate and create some new Filth. The EP kicks off with two number 1 charting producers while on Acid, with HI-LO tapping into his Rotterdam Hard Techno roots together with Mr. Onlybombs, T78. The result is a musical work that seems to have descended straight from hell - HADES.
Track 2 of the EP brings the trip back to earth and makes you Check the balance, with HI-LO joining forces together with UK national Will Clarke. That Oliver's trip with the Beardman was a Filthy one is for sure, they delivered us pure fire with their belter - CHECK.

Having already graced the label this past summer with their Cosmic Techno stunner "The Ark" - UK duo Spektre return to the Kraftek family with a blistering 2 tracker that requires little in the way of an introduction. The title track - hit's the musical bulls eye of exactly what we here at the label are all about. The flip side - easily strong enough to merit A-Side status gives an homage to the rave days of old - aptly named "Recall 90". Spektre are back on home turf once again, with a sinister two-tracker.

'Carnival Of Souls' sets the scene with the relentless bang of their trademark heavy kick drum. Opening with a dark and eerie atmosphere that appropriately matches the title, the lead synths develop into uplifting euphoria, as the tracks mood transforms in the breakdown.

Second of the two original tracks 'Land Of Strays' has a building tension with fluttering synths. The powerful vocal also lifts the track and provides great contrast with the growling tones of the ominous bassline. Undeniably a peak time cut of dancefloor focused techno, this is a spark to light anyone's fire.

Track three is SAMA's remix of 'Carnival Of Souls' which is a refined version of the original with the addition of his own grinding bass stabs and thinned kick drum to allow more focus on the synth parts. Keeping all of the originals energy, it has all of the same charm but with added depth for those who like things a touch deeper.

Finishing the EP is D-Unity's remix of 'Land Of Strays' and stripping away many of the originals synths it's a percussion lead alternate version. Using the vocal and only short bursts of synths, this darker version has more ferocity to it, and will no doubt be a favourite with those who play a harder style of techno.

Ballarak is a Italian producer of electronic music, based in Palermo. His passion for music begins in the early 90s when he was fascinated by the sounds of genres such as Progressive and Dream. 

Her musical influences come from pioneers of electronic music such as Gigi D'Agostino, Gianni Parrini, Mauro Picotto and many more. 

His techno is clearly inspired by the sounds of the 90s and now he is recognized as one of the greatest exponents of the "New Old School".
