Knaldrang is a raw and popping tune with mad laser like synths. It's pure power for the club. Linkerhoover then blasts off with hardcore bass and squared off drums that kick like a mule, all with plenty of main room energy. The Woffler keeps the rave going with some serrated synths and a barrelling groove that would knock down entire buildings. Lower East Side closes down with a more stripped back groover but one that is still lit up with bright rave synths and a menacing late night vibe.

With this EP, this vital pair demonstrate exactly what the mind wants and the body needs.

Ugur Project and Mehmet Özbek join forces again with each other for a brand new single titled ‘Grace'. The two have come together in different projects before but this one marks their debut on Airlines Records.

‘Grace' is a pounding and a window shaking track resonating across their matchless musical universes that perfectly pulsate in rhythmic synchronicity.

Extraterrestrial sounds create wonderment rising up into the vast sonic space and acid, lazery and wobbling components not only coalesce to build a new pearl of aural maturity but also promises a tuneful combination of dynamism and vibrancy.

Luca Tresque debuts on Unrilis with a driving techno EP that has raw sounds and hypnotic grooves.

Hailing from Austria, Luca Tresque is the co-owner of Splatter imprint and has released on Florian Meindl's FLASH, Robert Hoff's trau-ma, and Alex Bau's Credo. Known for his exceptional DJ skills being a resident at Kantine Club, he has also played at the respected KHIDI, Werk, and Grelle Forelle venues.

Unrilis is a record label Co-Founded by the late Rino Cerrone, and Luca Tresque is the latest artist to join the imprints roster.

"Oxygen" is the EP's title track, and it layers trippy vocals with a hulking synth line stretched over high-velocity percussion. Next up, "Dunes Everywhere" has a murky lead synth combining with fizzing hi-hats and a ground shaking low-end. "Exotic Frog" closes the release with atmospheric pads and croaking synth bursts combined with intense claps and a hammering kick.

Following on from the steamroller that was 'Carnival of Souls', Respekt's top brass are back with a fresh two-tracker. 'Gates of Dawn' gets the ball rolling with a hefty tip of the cap to Spektre's ravey roots. Searing, gated sawtooth riffs are peppered with breakbeat chops and of-the-era vocal hits to devastating effect. 
The second part of this double A-side is the more introspective 'Something Inside Us', on which the duo keeps the energy levels high, blending mesmerising, acidic melodies with cinematic pads and a scene-setting vocal sample.
The remix package adds yet more colours to the release's palette, with top notch reinterpretations from Loco & Jam and Vinicius Honorio.

Drumcode starts 2020 with a sterling EP from genre hero Thomas Schumacher, his first on the label after a long association with Adam Beyer.

No ifs or buts, if you’re a techno fan, Thomas Schumacher holds a place in your heart. His 1997 classic ‘When I Rock’ still gets rinsed, he has a vast body of stellar work on his influential former label Spielzeug Schallplatten, including a release from Adam Beyer, and he continues to deliver pin-sharp productions via his Electric Ballroom imprint, including a scorching remix of ‘The House of House’, the 1994 classic from Cherry Moon Trax. The rework was first played by Beyer at Time Warp and has been a 2019 highlight.

He first contributed to Drumcode in 2018 with ‘The Unseen’, a stirring contribution to ‘A-Sides Vol.7’, setting up a maiden EP with ‘Crimson’. Beginning with the brilliant ‘Feist’, it’s a no-nonsense brain melter, as 303 arpeggios bloom and recede, creating a thrilling rhythmic intensity throughout. The title track ‘Crimson’ is crafted around two minutes of tension-building synths, before a beat finally appears and a rasping deep bassline commands the dancefloor. ‘Anker’ brings the rave with eagle-eye focus, unleashing a wall of fierce acid to round out the pack.

The fast-rising duo Maur get set to make their Sola debut this September with the exhilarating peak-time track Set You Free.

'Set you Free is one of about 10 original tracks we wrote at the start of 2020. We wanted to start working on some more melodic material and this one just felt right from the very beginning. We then sent it to Hannah (Faber) to work on the vocal which we co-wrote together & the outcome is very exciting!' - Maur

British duo Maur have pure finesse when it comes to their newest production. Set You Free cuts right to the chase, with an immediate euphoric melody which is overlaid with a powerful bass and catchy snares. After the first breakdown, you’re introduced to the vocal hook, which dominates the track with a fierce female lead who cries out “I really want to feel you next to me… because you’re always on my mind” creating a sense of longing which then swiftly builds to a crescendo of ecstasy.

Maur was formed by British pair Dan Clare and Dylan May in 2015. Both established DJ’s, they soon began creating the energetic and melodic sounds they have become known for playing out. After several years of releasing music, in the past nine months they have gathered a thundering momentum with break-through releases on labels such as SOLA, CR2, ViVA Music and W&O Street tracks. They also released on club night Mixology’s imprint MXO Records a track titled ‘Gospel Man’, which was heavily supported on dance floors and radio shows across the world.

Ballarak is a Italian producer of electronic music, based in Palermo. His passion for music begins in the early 90s when he was fascinated by the sounds of genres such as Progressive and Dream. 

Her musical influences come from pioneers of electronic music such as Gigi D'Agostino, Gianni Parrini, Mauro Picotto and many more. 

His techno is clearly inspired by the sounds of the 90s and now he is recognized as one of the greatest exponents of the "New Old School".
