Squids Bluesday Jam #10

Used a backing track containing vocals, bass, and drums to record guitar parts over.  2 funky rhythm tracks panned hard right and left, a heavily distorted guitar to fill things in, and the guitar solos.  The main solo is 90% to the original and for the outro I improvised and kept it simple.

Arabian Nights feat. Derek Maggio Clarinet Solo

A collaboration between AlyKat and BallisticSquid.  AlyKat is on vocals, guitar (panned to the right), and synth guitar for those lush synth washes.  Squid is on acoustic guitar on the left and lead guitar.

Mellow P90 Squid Jam

An initial attempt at developing a theme, jamming, and returning to the theme.  After the jam, I forgot the original theme :).  Will need another try.

Derek performed this song for his recital.  I persuaded him to come down into Squid Studios to record this by saying it counted for his practice time!  We did 4 takes and interestingly enough, the first take was the best one.

Daddy fumbled along on his guitar enough to get the job done :).

Music nut that's been playing guitar for over 30 years.  Currently I play guitar in a cover band called Clean Slate.  In the past I've played in other cover bands, a duo, and with our church choir.  I also enjoy participating in online jams and collaborations hosted at GuitarForums.
