Many years ago Des Camp scored what in his own words was a 'wonder goal' in the village of Whaddon, Cambridgeshire. To this day Des recalls the story with a twinkle in his eye and still claims it as 'one of the greatest goals ever scored.' Time after time people would gather to hear Des' tale and young children and adults alike would listen in wonder as he went through the fine details of the strike. 'It was a long way out and I hit it so hard that by the time I looked up it was already flying into the top corner,' he would say as the listeners hung on his every word. Despite the best efforts of local fans and historians, to this day no-one has come forward to offer their own memories of Des' goal and Des' goal faces the danger of being lost in time and forgotten. Touched by the tale we have decided to start a campaign to make sure Des' goal stands the test of time and is given the recogonition it so obviously deserves. We were so inspired by the tale that we penned the song 'Wonder Goal at Whaddon (Baby Don't Forget) which will be released as a single soon.
