La plataforma New Latam Beats da a conocer la tercera parte de un compilado que reúne a más de 32 artistas mexicanos, que rescatan los sonidos esenciales de nuestra cultura americana mezclados con la electrónica global.

Un trabajo que contó con la curatoría de Murúa, quien logra plasmar en distintos momentos la diversidad de sonidos, ritmos y colores de la escena actual de música electrónica.

Es war einer dieser Abende wo einfach alles gepasst hat. Ein Veranstalter mit dem Herz am rechten Fleck, eine wirklich unglaublich liebevoll gestaltete Location, eine grandiose und extrem dankbare feiernde Meute und viele viele glückliche Gesichter. Solche unbezahlbaren und leider rar gewordenen Momente sind der Grund für alle Bemühungen und zeigen einem, warum man das, was man macht doch so sehr liebt.

Ich wünsche maximalste Unterhaltung mit dem Mitschnitt von jener Silvesternacht.

Cedd FUZE joins sunnyboy

An argentinean producer/luthier and a British producer/environmental activist joined by the love of traditional music and slow electronics, under the premise of “music without borders”. This led to the birth of the Shika Shika collective some five years ago but also their collaborative project, HIstory of Colour.
Since 2013, Agustin Rivaldo (Barrio Lindo) and Robin Perkins (El Búho) been working together under the premise of finding and tuning their crossover sound as History of Colour.
After the unexpected success of their last EP “ Calidoso”, History of Colour is back to present their debut album, “Antumbra”.

These two producers, who have each made a name for themselves in the Latin American downtempo electronica scene, have been slow-roasting this eight instrumental track release for the past two years. Since they started to collaborate, their creative processes have always been done remotely. Though this album started like this, they took the opportunity to come together in person for different sessions.

On the album the duo explore a new path, one that envelops the essence of their South American musical inspirations with darkly happy melodies and psychedelic arpeggios. Featuring German talent M.RUX, frequent Shika Shika collaborator, and Portuguese composer MaguPi, “Antumbra” writes the next chapter of this musical brotherhood.

Shika Shika Collective will also release the project that encapsulates the beginnings of the collective on vinyl for the first time.

A2 History Of Colour - Nachtwanderung (Feat. M.RUX)

”Analoge Wurzeln zu digitalem Blattwerk” - Wie ein roter Faden zieht sich dieser Leitspruch durch das Debutalbum ”Conversion” des rostocker Exilberliners Junis. Ausgehend von instrumentalen Jamsessions mit Freunden, produziert Junis elektronische Baumkronen in denen sich handgespielte Instrumente bequeme Nester bauen.
Als maßgebliches Element von Faultier Records spendiert er das erste Solo-Album des Labels, obwohl das Wort ”solo” in diesem Falle eigentlich garnicht so richtig passt. Sieben Instrumentalisten ranken ihre musikalischen Auswüchse um den Stamm von ”Conversion” und düngen die Wurzeln mit akustischer Biodiversität.
