Chicago based, BambiRaptor was formed in 2009 by five friends with different musical influences but a similar sense of humor and perspective on the ever evolving music scene. We mix Dance Rock with Synth Pop. Gentle and aggressive vocal melodies intertwine to compliment beautifully detailed, effects driven guitar hooks. The music is inspired by art, literature, pop culture, personal experiences, humor and obscure subcultures. We play super fun, highly energetic performances. 

We've played over 150 Midwest shows and festivals. Sharing bills with everyone from "Walk the Moon" to "Joan Jett". We have played many packed shows at House of Blues, Metro, Cubby Bear, Cobra Lounge, Beat Kitchen, Subterranean, Hard Rock Cafe, Reggies, Empty Bottle, Chicago City Limits, etc... 
Festivals including Northalsted Market Days, MOBFest, Milwaukee Ave Arts Fest, Rare Air Snowboarding Fest (Traverse City, MI), Inkfest Tattoo Expo,  Vitamin Water Uncapped Series (MCU Warehouse), Bratfest (Madison, WI), Elbo Room's annual IAMFEST at House of Blues. 

We've played a number of Gallery shows as "Art" is intricately intwined with our music.

In addition we have also played shows to raise money for various charities: Race for the Cure, Chicago Aids Ride, Mollypalooza, Norge Ski Jump fundraiser.
