Time to let your mind be free and fly to outer-world places with the latest Bamboleo release. BAM024 comes indeed from the Colombian skies, as label affiliate and crew core member Sebastian Ledher returns to our imprint for the entitled 'Spread My Wings' EP, which also sees man-of-the-moment Mene on the remix duties. The lead track combines jackin' bass tones with dusty grooves, glitched percussions, and shiny, echoing dubby stabs alongside some seductive vocals from Dutch singer and artist Rayzir. Next up, 'Cause Like' fuses bouncy grooves, playful synths, up 'n down baseline and shuffling drums to welcome rich chords and acid-laced sounds for a certified club tool. Closing things in style, Belgrade-based Mene brings all his unique stripped-back trademark vibes by providing an exquisite, extra-tight version of 'Spread My Wings' and adding some nasty congas and dirty leads.

London based Bamboleo Records is the imprint founded in 2018 by Italian DJ duo Neverdogs.

The label releases focus on house/tech-house with funky, minimal and techno influences and It brings together some of the most interesting artists in the underground music circuit, whose tasteful releases aim to craft a new musical concept and style, to inspire, to generate new emotions and to deliver maximum enjoyment on the dance-floors. In one word: Bamboleo.

Andy Kay was born in Eastern Germany and grew up surrounded by the influential sounds of Kraftwerk, Die Krupps, Front 242, and Nitzer Ebb. At the age of just twelve, he discovered his passion for electronic music. His first DJ experiences were humble – using a dual CD player and a basic mixer – but they quickly evolved into a serious artistic pursuit.

In 2007, he co-founded the oldschool EBM newcomer band A.D.A.C.8286. With their high-energy sound and authentic stage presence, the band soon gained recognition within the scene. Performances at renowned festivals like Familientreffen Sandersleben and the legendary Wave-Gotik-Treffen Leipzig cemented their place in the EBM community.

Alongside his band work, Andy increasingly delved into music production. Drawing from classic synthesizers, driving techno and tech house kicks, and bold basslines, his sound bridges the past and the future. In 2018, he released his first solo EP titled "Future EP" under Berlin-based label Der Weiße Hase Records – a release that vividly reflects his musical journey.

Andy Kay has performed in clubs such as Golden Gate Berlin, Der Weiße Hase Berlin, and Club Trafo Oelsnitz. He has also made his mark in the digital realm, with live streaming sets for DeeRedRadio (Berlin), WaveDots Studio (Berlin), and Electrovinyl (Plötzin/Potsdam).

His performances take the audience on a multilayered journey through electronic soundscapes – a fusion of EBM roots, techno drive, and atmospheric depth. Andy Kay’s sets invite listeners to let go and escape the everyday – diving deep into the pulse of the night.

Through all the chaos in this life, I seem to have found these external frequencies that resonate with the internal frequencies of my existence. I make this music solely because I love it so much, and it feels so good. 
In a world where we are all so divided, because nothing makes sense, and the things we love are so hard to obtain, this is all I have really. I hope that through the music, we are all able to reconnect with one another in this precious time of our existence. 🎶❤️🙏🏾
