wolf'd is the project of Oliver Wolf, a Chicago based producer whose roots in music go back 20 years to his start in music as vocalist and violinist.  He has been DJ’ing for 10 of those years, and over the past four years, wolf’d has brought his life and musical experience together composing electronic music.  He has harnessed the essence of soundsystem music while bringing his own unique gruff style to the table.   
 
 
wolf'd recently got back from his first headlining show in Fargo, ND! 2023 was his breakout year, and he had the opportunity to play in Denver, Austin, Omaha, Milwaukee, New York, Green Bay, and Chicago. Wolf’d has had the pleasure of opening for artists such as Ternion Sound, Alix Perez, The Widdler, Monty, Pushloop and the Innamind Recordings crew. So far, he has released on Deep Dark and Dangerous, Next Level, Street Ritual, Dank N Dirty Dubz, Prime Audio, Aspire Higher, and The Widdfam, and he has been supported by the Deep Tempo podcast, Ternion Sound, Khiva, Truth, The Widdler, Wraz, Substance and a number of other touring DJ’s.

After rocking some bomb flavor on Raquel Divar's 'Aux In' remix album, MalLabel Music is stoked for his solo return and bringing you a fresh 5 track EP from Northern California's rising low-end adventurer, Pushloop.
With a consistent outpouring of magnificent journeys through sound, Pushloop has been developing a rich catalogue of thoughtful sound experiments ranging from psychedelic worldly vibes to the deepest of dubs. A seemingly endless stream of remixes, originals and bootlegs has carried him steadily towards a blossoming career in 2016 with summer bookings already announcing and remixes for and by some heavy hitters such as The Widdler. We're excited to feature such a unique style and you can be sure he'll be remaining on our hot list so we can keep you in the know as he takes it to the next level.
The title track opens the EP with the decidedly eastern vibe on which the album derives it's name, Jamila, which translates to 'beautiful' in the feminine and carries forth through a multitude of worldly essences. Continuing with 'Matador' clearly indicating the Spanish influence that drives ominous textures through the mind, the EP then moves to a very tribal vibe with the minimal UK Dub in 'Aluminium'. 'Night Shift' maintains the eerie tide of emotion with a little supernatural mystery and finally he's got The Widdler down with a little more bounce to the title tracks already rich overtones. This EP can only be properly described as an experience in darkness taken 'round the world. Come along for the ride.

I wrote these tunes in one of these creative moments where everything was flowing so well it felt like the tunes actually made themselves. A lot of analog jamming to give the Ep that distinctive sound and Hermetica was born. Since then the music has been part of many gigs and travels while reading ancient books on Hermetism and symbolism and i'm happy that the learnings come together on this EP
