Van Halen guitar cover with full backing track. Cheated a little, it's on two tracks...used a VH Strat Rasta copy with an EVH Frank pickup for the rhythm and the did the solo on a Gibson Les Paul Standard so I could do the toggle trick during the solo.

Guitar cover of AC/DC's "Shot Down in Flames" with a band backing track.   Guitar used is a 2013 Gibson Angus Young SG, recorded through Guitar Rig 5.

Shot Down In Flames - AC/DC - Guitar Cover - w/full band backing track

This is a new version with some fixes I made on a few of the leads, and changed the tone a bit on the left guitar.

Guitar cover I did for Def Leppard's "Let It Go" using the full band backing track I got on karaoke-version.com  I used both Guitar Rig 5 and a Yamaha THR10x for the guitars, tried to get as close as I could to the "High N' Dry" sound which is tough and I'm not Mutt Lange.  But think it came out decent.

Let It Go - Def Leppard - Guitar Cover (w/backing track) - New and Improved!

Guitar cover I did of Tool's "Prison Sex," with a full band backing track.  I'm not a huge Tool fan so I only know a few of their more famous songs and have always liked this one.  Recorded on Guitar Rig 5 using a Les Paul copy with EVH Wolfang pickups.  I combined a Marshall 800 and a Soldano SLO amp sim combo to try to get something like Adam Jones, but I don't know his tone that well.  But not bad for a few hours work.

Prison Sex - Tool Guitar Cover (w/band backing track)

Guitar cover I did of Judas Priest's "Breaking The Law" from the great British Steel album.  Certainly not a hard song at all but just fun to play, and was one of the few Priest songs I could find a whole backing track of that was good.  Did the tracks on a Van Halen Rasta replica and a Van Halen Bumblebee replica (real Judas Priestish huh? haha).  Used Guitar Rig 5 Pro for the tone and recorded with Garage Band 10.

Breaking The Law - Judas Priest Guitar Cover (w/full backing track)

Another cover I did from Judas Priest's British Steel album.  Again a pretty easy song to play, but always fun.  Did the guitar parts on a Van Halen Rasta replica (Glenn Tipton's parts) and a Sawtooth Les Paul copy (for KK Downing's parts).  Again used Guitar Rig 5 and the same basic settings I did on my "Breaking the Law" cover.

Living After Midnight - Judas Priest Guitar Cover (w/full band backing track)

This is a guitar cover I did of the Journey song "Stone in Love" from the Escape album.  It has a full band backing track, I simply removed the guitars and re-recorded my own.  I used Garargeband for all of it, and recorded it on a Van Halen Super Strat Rasta replica (in the picture).

Stone In Love - Journey - Guitar Cover (w/full band backing track)

Cover I did of AC/DC's song "High Voltage" from their first album.  Recorded both the Angus and Malcolm guitar tracks as I hear them on the recording.  Did the solo more like the live way Angus Young does it, I like it more than the studio solo.  Thanks for listening.

Since I don't have my SG anymore, and wanted to record in standard tuning, I used my '96 Peavey Wolfgang Standard for all the tracks as it's the one guitar I don't have tuned down 1/2 step.  

Used Guitar Rig 5 for the tones and recorded onto Garageband 10.  Always works well for me.

For Those About To Rock (We Salute You) - AC/DC - Guitar Cover - w/full band backing track

This is a guitar cover I did of AC/DC's "You Shook Me All Night Long" from Back in Black. I used a full backing track I got online and replaced all the guitar tracks with mine.

I played this down 1/2 step just because most of my guitars are tuned that way, it was just easier and sounded fine.  For Malcolm's part I used my EVH Unchained replica with an EVH Frankenstein pickup (very ACDCish I know :)), and for all Angus' parts I used my Sawtooth Les Paul Copy with an EVH Wolfgang pickup.  I also turned down the volume pots on them to get a little less gain on my tone, I've never actually recorded that way before.  

Used Guitar Rig 5 for the tones and recorded and mixed with Logic Pro X.

This is a guitar cover I did of AC/DC's "Night Prowler" from Highway To Hell. I used a full backing track I got online and replaced all the guitar tracks with mine.

For the Malcolm tracks, I used my Van Halen Rasta copy with an EVH Frankenstein pickup.  For the Angus parts, I used a Sawtooth Les Paul copy that has an EVH Wolfgang pickup in the bridge.  Original recording is slowed down so it's 1/2 step down, so I just recorded my version 1/2 step down.  

Used Guitar Rig 5 for the tones and recorded and mixed with Logic Pro X.
