I made this mix because I noticed a lot of tracks coming through with a similar vibe or feeling to that of my favourite compilation series growing up, Global Underground. It kicked off last year with Call Super's Fluenka's Shelf, and then even more so this year with Ploy's Move Yourself. So I made this mix with some classics alongside some new gems, hoping to show a fluency and coherence between then and now.

The pic is of me in a bar on Khao San Road a few years ago, inspired by the many half-face shots on GU covers from around the globe.
