Babani Soundsystem is a Mauritius-based band defending a sound that blends Indian Ocean’s traditional rhythms and new electronic influences. This collective of DJ, musicians and producers showcases a unique rendition of its island’s groove. On stage, Babani Soundsystem is a ceremony, a haunting audio-visual journey blending electronic sounds and organic rhythms.

Dan Bwa, meaning « In the woods » in Mauritian Creole, is an ode to festive gatherings in the forest on the tropical island of Mauritius. All kinds of people come together to dance to the sound of local percussions.
