After the circumstances around the biggest Psychedelic Music festival in Australia, Esoteric 2025 the hive came together all over different parts of the state to produce the nectar they came for.

Nothing planned everything in motion

This is my set from Midnight Saturday at Woonoonook Lake (Maitreya Lake) about 30 minutes from where thousands were turned around waiting in line for Esoteric Festival.

This Renegade doof started on the lake lasted from Thursday to Tuesday Sunrise, almost exactly the same length of time Scheduled for the Esoteric Festival that didn't happen.
I want to express my deepest gratitude for the community we have here in Australia and hope this set secures the vibe that we created in the face of uncertainty, much love tribe :)

This was one of my favourite sets to date, enjoy some oldies and some newies 
blending techno and progressive trance together.

Wow, what an incredible few weeks it was in Thailand. Immersing myself in the culture and experiencing levels of kindness and generosity I didn't realise whole peoples could be capable of. Me and my partner fell in love with the country and cannot wait to go back. The beaches, the food, the pina coladas! (oh so many)

The festival was of course another huge amazing experience for me being the first international gig I had played. I was blown away by the production of the festival, over the moon when I found out only days before it that I had been moved from the second stage to the monstrous main stage. With this set I aimed to deliver something unique to the festival; a touch of Australia, a touch of Bassic and a touch of me.

A big thank you to my amazing girlfriend who I travelled with and supports me endlessly in my musical journeys <3

Abandoned 07 / Tanglewood application

Last New Years at Tanglewood was up there with the best times of my life, and ever since I left my goal has been to play at the next event... seriously the best people, amazing music, just unbeatable vibes.

I was invited in to play on Bajes Radio streamed live from Bijlmerbajes: the famous old prison in Amsterdam that was recently transformed into a huge creative hub and refugee centre - with an aim to showcase wonderful initiatives, beautiful art and unseen talent.

This 90 minute mix features a sneak preview the next release on the label from myself and @Amuz_e, a remix of @Doppelau's Blacklight, out soon on our Symbiosis collaborative compilation via @RecoveryCollective x @BassicRecordings.

Also including a heap of my favourite tracks at the moment from artists such as: Tim Green, Undercatt, Innellea, Sascha Cawa, Schlepp Geist, Soul Button, Dizharmonia, Solemn Eye, Oliver Leib, Einmusik and more... 

Also had a little chat with host Tom Heringa towards the end of the set about the label, the forthcoming release and some upcoming shows in Amsterdam and Berlin.

The 2000's from the studio frizzled out the day before at a party in the prison, so had to adapt to some clapped out 400's - still really stoked with the turn-out though.

The Bassic Records director and co-founder is known for his refusal to be locked down to any one style or genre. It’s no wonder he has played in some of the most vibrant rooms in the country.

A powerhouse of the Australian festival circuit having been featured at Strawberry Fields, Earth Frequency, Subsonic Music Festival, Psyfari, Bizarre Garden and is a resident of Rabbits Eat Lettuce, hosting a Bassic Records showcase on the festival’s main stage each year. 

We are excited to bask in ZigMon's sounds and welcome him back to elsewhere, as he will be joining us for the Queens Birthday Rave.

There is a distinct niche in the void of electronica between raging techno and the delicate flower of groove that is tech house. A gaping chasm rarely filled with the inter genre specialisation required to progress an evening. The ability to cast a fruitful sunset of dance and cocktails toward a jaw clenching, foot stomping, session pit of destruction. 
BANDO, the solo alias of up-and-coming artist Bailey Andersen, aims to fill that void in the night and redirect the fractured souls of the punter by weaving darkness into the light. BANDO’s sets and productions range from minimal and progressive to bass-line heavy Brazilian and Bush influenced techno.
BANDO has been gaining significant traction in the Australian underground scene in recent years, he’s now divulging into the diverse cosmos that is international electronic music. An artist to many labels, a host to many notorious parties and a performer to numerous, infamous events.
