​Born in Schenectedy, NY into a struggling neighborhood, Raweh Bandsome was forced to learn the culture of the streets from birth. As he grew up, Raweh Bandsome quickly saw that it was either hustle or die, instilling a strong, unmatched work ethic into him. Growing up in this harsh environment, Raweh Bandsome turned to making music at 16 as a way of expressing himself. In doing so, he discovered a natural talent for lyricism and an ear for dope beats and samples. Combined with the hustle he learned from the streets, Raweh Bandsome soon found himself making music with unmatched passion and authenticity. Since becoming an artist, Raweh Bandsome has also became a father of five. Learning to juggle children and the streets forced him deeper into the grind and pushed him to make even more authentic music.
​Raweh Bandsome’s unique vision and perspective always come through in his music. Raweh combines slow, melodic beats with heavy flows, resulting in an absolute bangers. His music is written, mixed, mastered, and recorded all by him, meaning that every project he releases goes through a painstaking process to live up to his high personal standards. As a result, every track has an authentic vision and passionate feel that is truly unique to Raweh Bandsome.
​Currently, Raweh Bandsome is preparing for the release of his debut EP The Beauty In Death, along with the follow up project The Last Supper. In addition to these EPs, he also has a full-length album on the way and a non hip-hop project in the works.
