As the sun dipped beyond the horizon, the skies over Punta Trettu transformed into a canvas of deep oranges and purples. The gentle hum of the evening breeze harmonized with the rhythmic lapping of waves against the shore. Kitesurfers, silhouetted against the vibrant backdrop, danced gracefully atop the tranquil, shallow waters. The flat expanse of the lagoon mirrored the kaleidoscope above, creating an endless tapestry of color and motion. In this serene moment, the boundary between sea and sky blurred, embodying the essence of Sardinia's natural beauty.

Sardinian Skies - Punta Trettu

**"Kitesurf Sardinia – Winds of Freedom" - "Balanced and Reflective."**

The wind whispered across the shallow waters, its touch both steady and free. A lone kitesurfer skimmed the glassy surface, the kite above slicing through the golden sky, tracing invisible arcs of motion. Sardinia's coastline stretched in the distance, silent and watching, as the last rays of sunlight shimmered on the horizon.  

Each gust carried the scent of salt and adventure, blending with the rhythmic lapping of waves against the shore. The air pulsed with energy—not a storm’s fury, but a quiet force, urging movement yet embracing stillness. Here, under the vast Sardinian sky, time slowed, and the wind carried dreams beyond the edge of the sea.

Winds of Freedom

This is one of two remixes commissioned by Craig Kallman @ Atlantic Records NYC for the 2002 American release of "Walking Away". 
It was done really quickly, as they just wanted a kind of throwback mash-up for the soul/r&b heads. 
The basis for the track is Dennis Edwards & Siedah Garrett's "Don't Look Any Further". 
Some may recognise the bassline, which has also been used in two hip hop classics, Eric B & Rakim's "Paid In Full" and Junior Mafia's "Get Money". 
I'm pretty sure these Soulchild remixes were only available on promo CD/12in.
