Hailing from Sri Lanka, the talented rising producer Pasindu Chamith , first emerged in early 2021 with releases via Balkan Connection's BC2 and Clinique Recordings, and found its way into the sets of trendsetting DJs.
Main track "Around the River", presents a rolling rhythmic structure, adding organic elements to the track and layers of driving percussion, creating a track to delight dance floors. The "B" side, "Stone Flower", brings hypnotic rhythms and smooth percussive arrangements, created to captivate dance floors.

PASINDU - Shifter [Future Avenue]

The latest release on Nikko.Z's Dopamine White finds Vegaz SL & Dimel De Silva collaborating on a three-track showcase. Hailing from the progressive house hotbed of Sri Lanka, both Vegaz SL and Dimel De Silva have made their mark on the genre's global scene. A combined resume boasts releases via BCSA, Deepwibe Underground, Droid9, Sound Avenue and Transensations, while some of the world's most highly regarded DJs have championed their work. Having both appeared on Dopamine White previously, Vegaz and Dimel now make a welcome return to the label with their ‘Tundras' EP.

Combining their extensive forces, Vegaz and Dimel set the tone of the release with the title selection ‘Tundras'. Played out over eight minutes, a classically styled progressive groove sets the foundation for a bevy of trippy effects and wispy melodic fragments. Sitting at the heart of the track is an expansive break, complete with submerged beats, swirling noise and mallet-like clusters, all of which unite for a colourful crescendo and thrilling finale. 

Meanwhile, selection two ‘Tears of an Angel' finds Vegaz SL operating in solo capacity, moving the release forward with a deep, chugging groove and a wealth of cosmic creativities. Undeniably progressive, its indistinct vocal edits, spiralling motifs and clattering percussion blaze a trail into a near two-minute interlude. Tense and astral in equal measure, the break builds drama through misty atmospheres and otherworldly effects, while the vocal narrative continues to evolve as the thumping groove drops back in for a charged final movement. 

The third and final selection ‘Unspoken Feelings' puts a resounding cap on the release with a dark and mysterious vibe that is sure to bring life to your dance floor. Deep and fluid throughout, the duo's prophetic designs are illuminating, tactfully merging for a buzzing wall of momentous energy. Looking to bring greater emotional depth, the main break adds colour through muted keys, hopeful pads and cinematic style textures, before eventually breaking off into a thumping yet poignant finale.  It rounds out a stunning collection of music from Vegaz SL & Dimel De Silva, a pair of produdcers who continue to be two of Sri Lanka's fastest rising progressive music talents. Don't miss it

Emaxx Cost Ft. Mai Schiavi - Chromatic Mornings (Julieta Kühnle Remix)

Presenting their first ever collaborative project, Ezequiel Arias and Sebastian Sellares land on Cid Inc's Replug Records with ‘Sky Above'. Label artist and progressive music star Ezequiel Arias has found a comfortable home on the Finnish imprint. After making his Replug debut in 2017 with a contribution to the label's popular ‘Defined' collection, the Cordoba resident went on to record joint EP's with fellow countrymen Artfaq, which subsequently found a place on the label across 2019 and 2020. Anjunadeep, Sudbeat Music and The Soundgarden have also served as vehicles for Ezequiel's obsessive rhythms and hyperspace melodies, while Hernan Cattaneo and Nick Warren have remained as steadfast supporters along the way. Meanwhile, fellow Cordoba resident Sebastian Sellares makes his label debut which follows on from a litany of successes. UK behemoth Anjunadeep, Antrim's Or Two Strangers, GMJ & Matter's meanwhile and US powerhouse Proton Music have all served as landing spots for the Argentine's mesmerizing productions. As friends and contemporaries for some time, Ezequiel and Sebastian now combine their extensive forces for Replug, as the beloved duo present a much anticipated three-track showcase entitled ‘Sky Above'. 

Comprised of three distinctive and equally compelling creations, it is the charming melodies of the title selection which get the release underway. Pitched somewhere comfortably between dreamy reverie and symphonic bliss, its warm machine gun style groove and flickering percussive arrangements marry perfectly with percolating effects and panoramic arps. Coming to full fruition during the second act, the duo's musical prowess is on full display, as a delicate lead rises, conjuring up bucolic imagery, while remaining undeniably infectious against a backdrop of glowing pads and balmy textures, onwards to a spirited finale.

Continuing the emotive lean of the release, selection two 'Delta Room' is replete with evolving, emotional and hypnotizing structures. Anchored by shuddering bass tones, whimsical chord stabs and contemplative phrasing, it moves forward with a lifelike pulse. The duo allows the listener to relish in the groove, building anticipation towards an apex of emerging riffs and colourful synth swagger, before collapsing under its own gravity and breaking into a utopian-style ecstasy. 

The elusive 'Imaginear' rounds out the release and further solidifies the duo's transcendent abilities. Ezequiel and Sebastian expound their lavish future vision, chasing their relentless curiosity for rhythmic and harmonic experimentation, as fuzzed out notes ring out into timeless suspension, across a bed of mountainous key changing grooves and misty textural refrains. Equally at home above a celebratory skyline or sitting in the emotional sweet spot of an end of the night scenario, its deeper design and thought-provoking atmospherics provide a much-needed dance floor curveball for the more adventurous selectors out there. 

With the ‘Sky Above' collection Ezequiel and Sebastian have crafted a sound-story which only grows more rewarding with every stop along the way - one in which two minds travel together deeper into their own musical journeys, and the resulting alchemical power transmutes its energies into progressive music gold.

An international community comes together in the Dutch capital once more after a lengthy period of exile. Amsterdam opens its city gates to a Dance Event of unrivalled togetherness and fraternity. A bright dawn beckons over the horizon with new musical hope touching familiar landmarks. Mango Alley contributes with a seventh edition of its timeless classic bringing joy through a collection of rising and seasoned artists. Twenty-two pieces of sonic creativity reverberate across the night sky in beautiful golden light.

In time, a new beginning creates a snapshot of autumnal colour. Gentle mist rolls across canals that interweave through a vibrant city. An hourglass slowly sifts its grains of sand as a plethora of sights and sounds are generated in synchronicity over days that wait for night to fall. The bustling Leidseplein is filled with chatter by day, while dislocated melodic patterns drift across Rembrantplein as twilight turns to night. Nothing is off limit at the stylish and atmospheric ClubNL and the aural rush created by the Sugar Factory then leads east to tempting rhythms found across the Panama canal.

Serendeep Opens the 13th Chapter by warmly welcoming Liam Sieker with the debut release ‘Good Intentions'. Born in Melbourne, Australia, Liam is well known for his regular appearances at My Aeon, Brown Alley, Babylon Festival, Rabbits Eat Lettuce, Esoteric. He has also released music on the finest imprints such as Nick Warren's The Soundgarden and Matan Caspi and Stan Kolev's Revolt Music & Tripswitch's Onedotsixtwo many others. Not known to many Mike Rish one of the best upcoming producers, his unique style of production got him to labels such as Bunny Tiger Dubs, Colorize.

The atmospheric percussive quality supported by the growling baseline makes ‘Good Intentions' headliner of the release. A deeper yet fierce piece through a musical storyboard with an implicit sense of adventure, Mike's remix pushes the boundaries in sound-design and complex rhythms within the existing framework of the original. Ideally following deeper sounds soundscape, flowing through tasteful modulation ‘Understanding' closes the 23 Min EP.
