Guybrush is Berliner through & through! In the west he learned to walk, in the east he stood on two legs. A music enthusiast from an early age. His first encounter with electronic music came by immersing himself in the Berlin nightlife. Soon it was clear that it was not just about simple clubbing, but much more about being part of something bigger. Until then it was enough for him to take on the role of a dancer on the floor. But the moment that changed all this happened, when he discovered the Berlin club "Sisyphos". So fascinated by the music & energy of the crowd, he decided to give up the role of the dancer & take on the role of the DJ to pass on his vision of music to the people.
The sound of Guybrush is always driving and accompanies the listener through a musical trip, as long as everyone lands safely again, all is well.

Because of Art is one of house music's most impressive new talents. His meticulously well-crafted sounds and journeying DJ sets have won him support from the likes of BBC Radio 1 and BBC 6 Music, with regular spins from key tastemakers. He has dropped stylish melodic EPs on Anjunadeep, a more rave-inspired collaboration with Antony Szmierek and has appeared on this label alongside label boss Sasha back in 2023, all while playing at events across Europe and a recent tour of India. After launching his own ART CLUB label and community project earlier this year, he now returns to Sasha’s Last Night On Earth. There is a magnificent lushness to 'Queens Park' which rides on buoyant and rubbery drums while smooth, mellifluous synths do a delicate dance and subtle twinkling arps add celestial flair. Wordless vocals are smeared into the mix for a hint of human soul and help add to a perfectly uplifting journey. 'Work It' has more direct drive and crisper drums but is still doused in succulent and sophisticated chord work that flows freely and rises ever higher to get hands in the air and heads lost amongst the stars. It's the sort of progressive gem that will work in both intimate clubs and more vast main rooms with equal impact.

Another edition of the Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE) is just around the corner, and this year marks its 30th anniversary. As always, Chrom Recordings is ready to celebrate in style with their annual ADE Sampler and a 2-day label showcase happening on Friday and Saturday. Our ADE Chrom Sampler features 10 carefully curated tracks, reflecting the diverse sounds of Progressive House, Indie Dance, and Melodic House & Techno. The Compilation opens with 2 recent Chrom anthems: Horizon, taken from the #100-album by our own label manager Pedro Mercado alongside Karada, followed by our latest single Missing, the iconic 90s classic from Everything But The Girl covered by Yves Eaux feat. Gregory Douglass. The remaining 8 tracks are brand-new and exclusive to this release. Half of them are contributions from trusted Chrom regulars: Fernando Lagreca, DJ Andy de Gage, Paul Sawyer and Daniel Vilchez. The other half is coming from artists who are new to our label: JP Lantieri from France, VUH from Mexico, GELIMA from Thailand and Juwlz from Belgium. We hope you enjoy this years selection! And if youll be in Amsterdam this October for ADE, wed love to see you at our Label Showcase on Friday the 24th and Saturday the 25th. PREMIERE: DJ Andy de Gage´ - Secret (Original Mix) [Chrom Recordings]

Raven Records launched earlier this year and has already turned heads with its first two releases. The third comes from co-founder D.Ramirez, the Sheﬃeld-born talent who has consistently pushed boundaries over the last few decades. He constantly innovates while drawing on house, techno, prog, and electro. As well as underground classics, he has had a chart hit with his remix of Bodyrox's 'Yeah Yeah’ , is an Ivor Novello nominee, and continues to inspire with his work through Raven Studios and his global DJ sets. He is in fine form here with the muscular 'Marimboid' , a driving, gritty house cut with powerful bass. A whole ecosystem of synths and melodies unfolds up top as the turbulent groove rolls on and demands full-bodied reactions in the club. It's a real roller coaster of a rhythm that shows D Ramirez is one of the most inventive heads in the game.

PREMIERE: D.Ramirez - Marimboid (Original Mix) [Raven Records]

"Hypnotic" is the collaboration EP of Berlin-based Pyrame and Semodi, and sums up the creative work done by both friends in the studio over the past year.

Pyrame and Semodi have produced two tracks blending tech house and minimal house, layered with mesmerizing vocals to come up with a thought-provoking record.

Joining the crew, the vocalist Mailys interpretes Pyrame´s narration about the power of the human brain, imagination and fantasm.

The EP also includes reworks of "Mais Qui Es-Tu?" by Melodic Techno chief No Hopes and a Goa Mix by Orchid as well as a remix of "Hypnotic" by House maestro Bruno Otranto.

"Hypnotic" will drop on Friday 14th of November 2025 on a limited vinyl edition, on Bandcamp and on all streaming platforms via THISBE Recordings..

Iptamenos Discos unveils “Camera Lens With Vaseline”, a new single from Captain Mustache & Third Culture with vocals by Victoria Rawlins, arriving this November. The Berlin imprint known for off-kilter electronics, dark disco inflections and industrial textures adds another leftfield cut to its catalog with this collaboration.

The track lives up to its name: blurred at the edges and slightly unreal. French producer Captain Mustache teams with Third Culture - the cross-continental pairing of Sian and Sacha Robotti - to craft a hypnotic slow-burner that pulls the listener inward rather than striking directly. Victoria Rawlins moves through the mix like a flickering transmission: close and delicate one moment, distant and ghostlike the next. Her presence feels like a half-remembered voice embedded in foggy synths and pulsing bass.  “Camera Lens With Vaseline” straddles the space between cinematic score and club hypnosis. It’s built for smoke-filled dancefloors and solitary headphone sessions alike, where the tempo moves with intention and the small details surface over time. Lush, hypnotic and subtly disorienting, the track reflects Iptamenos Discos’ instinct for electronic music that pushes at form while preserving emotional depth.

On our new Chrom release, we proudly welcome Geuzz from Belgium — a DJ whose career took off after performing at Tomorrowland. During the Covid pandemic, Geuzz turned his creative energy toward music production, quickly securing releases on Belgian labels such as Deep House Belgium and Deep In Your Soul. His music has attracted remixers like Enoo Napa, &lez and Aytiwan, while gaining global support from influential DJs including Black Coffee, Fideles, Magdalena, Maxim Lany and Shimza. Maalouf is a Grammy-nominated trumpeter, producer, arranger, and composer who has worked with everyone from Sting to Vanessa Paradis and Salif Keita. He has released several albums since 2007 and plays live across the world.
'Will Soon Be a Woman' is an enchanting instrumental from his 2011 Diagnostic album.
Moog Diez is a musician and producer who creates at the intersection of electronic and Mediterranean sounds. He fuses warm basslines with bouncy drums and a hint of his Baglama Saz, pushing the boundaries of what can be considered house music.
His rework of ‘Will Soon Be A Woman’ preserves the original’s romantic and Mediterranean vibe with a backdrop of dark club energy. Listeners can fixate on any single element of the track and get lost dancing or imagining the smell of the Mediterranean sea.

Rounding off in fitting style what, if we may humbly say so ourselves, has been a pretty damn stellar year for new tuneage emanating from Selador HQ …its the oh so welcome return of a stalwart of the label, a soldier of the scene, and all-round ace human, the one and only… Just Her. And its double bubble time, as Claires musical gift to mankind is not one, but two surefire festive favourites. However, much like Slade recorded Merry Xmas Everybody on a sweltering summers day in NYC, our winter wonderland tale starts back in the heady days of August – as the Selador Boat Party cruised the Adriatic during the much lauded (and inaugural) Balance Croatia festival. As Just Hers set reached an especially exhilarating crescendo, both Steve and Dave simply had to know what one particular track was. Claire advised it was new; it was one of her own called Secrets, and it was currently unsigned – 10 seconds later, it was very much signed, sold to the men with the bunny logo. One listen to this beauty, by turns tough as old boots and effortlessly euphoric, and youll soon see why. Sister track Floating Clouds then joined the party, bringing another equally infectious addendum to proceedings. With its incessant arp gliding hypnotically over punchy bass and whip cracker percussion, its not just here to make up the numbers, its a serious contender for your favourite track of the release.
