The next installment in the WHPK Spotlight series comes courtesy of WHPK's own AI DAN (Aidan Grogan). Aidan has been a WHPK DJ since 2021. He fell in love with Chicago's underground dance music scene while in college, and is a proud member of Taigo Onez' Bang le' Dex crew. Over the course of this mix, he downshifts from oldschool hardgroove techno to deeper, atmospheric realms.

Marteka Fair Minimal Detroit 2025

Inspired by his dance floor experiences in Chicago, NYC, and Berlin, Will Tom found his voice in the hypnotic and raw side of techno. He aims to explore the intersection of layered atmosphere and sharp physical drive, chasing a sound that reflects the deep, physical energy of the dance floor. For his WHPK Spotlight, Will hones in on these instincts for 90-minutes of dense, layered techno—balancing tension, momentum, and rhythmic pressure with three decks and a Xone:96.

Having spent his first two years as a DJ developing his sound at WHPK and organizing the Kimbark Fourth State party series, Will is now set to relocate to New York.
