Howl

The Bangups is a rock band based in Los Angeles, CA. Its members include Joey Dornbos (vocals, guitar) and Brent French (background vocals, drums). They have released three albums, "Ten Dollars an Hour", "HELLCAT!", and “Candy Cigarettes”. They’ve worked with producer Steve Albini (Nirvana, Pixies, Bush), Rob Schnapf (Beck, Elliott Smith, The Vines, Kurt Vile, FIDLAR), and Mastering Engineer Emily Lazar (Vampire Weekend, The Shins, The Postal Service).  

The Bangups music is influenced by early blues, 50s/60s rock and roll, 70s/80s punk rock, as well as more modern artists like Jack White, Weezer, and The Hives. Their music has been licensed on various television shows including Bates Motel, Shameless, Discovery Channel, MTV, as well as the snowboarding video game Steep. They also toured nationally on the Vans Warped Tour 2012 & 2013.
