Forever is in multiplicity and mutation. Musician and visual artist Nicola Tirabasso (VISIO), together with Haunter founders Daniele Guerrini and Francesco Birsa Alessandri called for a collective effort in order to celebrate these elements of experience. In opposition to linear notions of time itself. An attempt to let perceptions of future and past bleed together, to establish every moment as an infinite process of consumption and re-generation. A compilation of 33 artists, each contributing in their own peculiar style, adding their own blends to the palette and exposing the lineage of their work. It is precisely to state that the perennial immanence of difference is what constitutes the basis for true unity, that the curators have grouped an utterly diverse cast of contributors, whose output strikes a vastity of moods and textures, and grows out of very distinct intentionalities and backgrounds. Making kin without borders, letting mutual support evolve into a chimeric infinity.

The latest release on Edited Arts comes from co-founder of the label, computer musician, and “melodramatic coder”, +777000. Merging club-inspired ambient with highly distorted RnB samples, Perma-Interval deals with the Latvian born, London Based producer's thoughts on fictional memory and trauma betterment.

Entitled ‘Perma-Interval’, this EP presents a sound that is at once continuous and intermittent; steady but sporadic. Like the static between radio stations, Perma-interval suggests a kind of netherworld, a space between spaces.

Nerve @lo4nerve is a Hong Kong based multidisciplinary artist whose practice mines the boundaries between contemporary music, sound art, multimedia theatre and underground subcultures. With a background in classical composition and 90s rave culture, he explores the extreme sound experience by mixing electroacoustic, beat, bass, fx and samples into a new form of free improvisation performance.

Fight or flight are the options during a global pandemic. Music can be relief, a space to forget, or it can be a mirror, a space to confront. Nerve gives us permission to dive in headlong. Told through the vernacular of bass and noise, this mix embodies 2020 in sound and sentiment. The opposite of escape. A pummeling reflection of the present and a foretelling of an unforeseen chaotic future. In this dystopian world, tracks dissolve into swift and relentless cuts, and just when it begins to feel overwhelming, you’re hit even harder with industrial cacophony and distant basement dance floor reverberations. The release is nothing short of cathartic; sometimes pain feels good too.
