Proudly People - Shift The Focus (Original Mix)

Some artists you connect with before you ever meet them. A mix from a homie in Buenos Aires led me to a Gustavo Cerati remix I couldn’t get out of my head. Had to find out who was behind it. That search brought me to @Furz and I’ve been tapped into his work ever since.

Nunca nos vimos en persona, pero así es esta cultura. La música conecta mucho antes de que la vida real se cruce. In English, we’ve never met in person…but that’s how this culture moves. Music makes the connection long before real life ever does.

Furz is one of the most eclectic voices coming out of Argentina right now. His sets are raw, hardware-driven journeys that move between house and electro, deeply rooted in Latin rhythms and the energy of early rave culture. There’s a steady continuity in what he does - empathetic, introspective, and completely locked in.

For episode 009, He shared something personal:
“The cat in the drawing passed away earlier this year. He was with me in the studio through most of my productions these last two years. This is a small tribute to a true companion who still walks beside me.”

There’s no formula here, just emotion, memory and rhythm stretched across machines... and from Bariloche, algo muy real.

Banm records is a Spanish electronic music label created by Eros Marez. It pretends to expand all over the world through its artistic creations, comprising music, photographic work, graphic design and audiovisuals.
The label is a network of national and international performers of minimal style music, but gathering also different music fields like dub or experimental dub, minimal tech-house or the also known dark techno.
Banm records is launched with the hope of becoming a family of artists that will gain themselves a niche in the actual electronic scene as well as to arouse the delight and interest of an increasingly demanding audience.
