BANTUNANI
  
  Bantunani is a Paris based group of "Nu-rumba" music; a genre innovated in 2007. The group was created by Michel Nzau VUANDA and managed by the label VizualizMusic. Nu-rumba is a mixture of rumba, hip hop and funk. One good think about nu-rumba is when it hurts, you feel no pain; as claimed its creator.
  
  The name of the group “Bantunani” is combination of two words; “Bantu” and “nani” in Lingala (one of the most spoken dialects in D.R.Congo), which mean “who are these people?”

  Michel N’zau VUANDA aka Mister Guide – Producer, Composer & Vocalist
  As singer, author and composer, he puts his feather to restore all the strength of a tradition of musical writing. He wants to be the apostle of the harmonious melody, the humanist sound touching everybody and exceeding all borders. In deserving Bantu, it is important to illustrate this art by a strong dance without defect.
  
  Umberto LUAMBO aka The Wise - Lead Guitarist & Producer
  Umberto, the boss of the guitar, guarantees the tradition. His set evokes in a very personal way, the unbreakable marriage of rumba and salsa. His recession of old wise person and its attentiveness know how to drive the group on the way of quality. The boldness and the arrogance, which express his guitar, give a particular weight to lyrics.
  
  Johnny PULULU aka Milbaga - Drummer & Producer
  Johnny is the drummer in the band. When he plays, he releases so much energy as he opens doors to the gathering of many different styles.
  
  Niwa KOSHI aka El Basora – Bassist & Producer
  It’s rare to see a band with two bass guitarists. But the contribution and the genius of this set are inescapable for this Japanese master of the bass who knows all the subtleties of the Congolese rumba which associates him with the rock culture.
  
  Papy BOELLE aka Mr Sébène - Guitarist
  He is the man of the structure the one who preservation gives rhythm to him when Umberto flies away in the modern rhythms.
  
  Véronique Ablice aka Miss Chant de l’Amétys - Chorister, Soloist & Vocalist
  Amétys, endowed with a sensual voice in the charms poisons, she draws and dresses the music of Bantunani with a vocal style between jazz and nude-soul. By an incredible sense of human, she’s the mother spirit.
  
  Awa Timbo, the spiritual voice - Chorister, Soloist & Vocalist
  Awa Timbo, a life, a voice, a dream, there is a vivifying grace, a hardly tangible intensity and energy distilled carefully in the singing of this atypical vocalist which leads her career around the world for about ten years. It is the Fulani touch of the Bantus, which brings a sensual felt-tip in this virile groove.
  
  Loulee Chounlamany - Chorister
  She is no doubt the cinema touch of the group. Loulee brings a dramatic sense to her performances. Her oriental accents illuminate certain titles of their flavor.
  
  Thomas BOYAT aka Jungle – Violinist & Dancer
  His peers recognize gladly in him, the gypsy contribution characterizing the mythology of nomad Bantu.
  
  Faby REINE, from voice to dance – Vocalist & Dancer
  Native of Guadeloupe, Faby is above all a multiple talented personality, feline and full of charm. Her musical universe is loan of jazz, soul and funck, sprayed with caraïbéens rhythms. Her vibrating and sensitive voice, lets glimpse a moving fragility. Dancer choreographer, her body movements are atypical and well-trained.
