Douglas himself opens up this package with joyous organ chords and soft melodies lighting up the smooth, seductive drums. Swiss DJ and producer Shaka goes next as an artist who has spent decades blending acid, Chicago, and Detroit influences into his own tunes on top labels like Nervous, GooD MooD, and Mister Bear Records. Hi there. I had a great gig at Kater Blau a few weeks ago, so I'm sharing the more interesting part of my set with you. 

After writing up the tracklist I realized how this set is a mix of new and old. The first half hour is mostly tunes from 2006 to 2016. It wasn't something I intended. Usually on stage, I'm consciously thinking about sectioning my set by mood, intensity, BPM, and texture...but perhaps unconsciously I was also thinking about grouping music together by age...or maybe it was just a coincidence. Regardless, I now have a new way to think about building an arc of a set, which is kind of fun.

I thought it all came together alright, so I hope you enjoy the recording as much as I enjoyed playing.
