Halia unveils "Mentira" on Sounds Of Sirin with a mesmerizing remix by the author of our best selling release in 2023, Alex Twin. The EP features the enthralling work of Halia, a French music producer and DJ who has been captivating the electronic music scene from her base in London. Halia's journey began with a classical education, which has since evolved into a rich tapestry of sounds influenced by her travels across Europe, China, the US, the Middle East, and Brazil. Her debut in 2022 on Earthly Delights and Cafe de Anatolia saw her tracks ascend the heights of Beatport's Organic House charts, leading to further releases on influential labels like Alt Orient, Trndmsk, and Tibetania Records.

Halia's latest offering, "Mentira," is a testament to her artistic evolution and the diversity of her influences. The track celebrates the vibrant heritage of Andalusian culture, artfully blending the pulsating energy of organic house rhythms with the soul-stirring harmonies of traditional flamenco. Incorporating live percussion, acoustic guitar, and deep, emotive vocals, "Mentira" is an exploration of love and betrayal, set against the backdrop of Cadiz's lively streets. It's a piece that invites listeners to close their eyes and embark on a journey to distant lands, guided by Halia's melodic soundscapes, traditional live instruments, groovy organic percussions, and ethereal vocals.

Bar 25 Music welcomes back Jim Rider with Wingtips, a three-track release crafted in collaboration with rising talent mredrollo.

This second outing on the label highlights Rider’s melodic yet driving sound — a style honed through years of global touring and standout releases on respected imprints like All Day I Dream, Get Physical, and VIVa MUSiC. Now also curating his own label and event series Signs, Rider continues to shape the international house music landscape.

Joining him is mredrollo, a producer gaining swift recognition in the melodic house scene with chart-topping releases on For A Memory and Melody of the Soul. His sound — emotive, layered, and deeply musical — has earned support from key tastemakers such as Lee Burridge, Sébastien Léger, and Tim Green.

Speaking about the release, Jim Rider shares:

“I’ve been playing Ed’s music for a while, and I had some chords, a bassline, and some drums that I wanted to write a lead for. I first thought about writing a similar Moog line to Ed, but then thought, why don’t I just ask the expert himself? He sent something perfect back then, after a bit of back-and-forth tweaking all the other elements between us, we were almost there. I wrote the lyrics and vocal melody, then worked with a super talented singer (who wishes to remain nameless), and we were done.

TalkTalk Records welcomes rising London-based artist Carina Lawrence for her label debut, 'Love Language' - a four-track EP showcasing her dynamic range and deeply emotive sound.

Known for her captivating sets and genre-blending approach, Carina has quickly become a respected name in the underground electronic music scene. From the global festival circuit to iconic venues like Printworks, Drumsheds, and Fabric, she brings a decade of passion and precision to the decks - and now to the studio.

Following the success of her debut solo release on Mobilee, Carina continues to evolve with 'Love Language', a collection that merges soulful energy with rich, melodic textures. The EP includes the title track 'Love Language', the hypnotic 'Human Touch', warm and immersive 'Loft Warmer', and the mysterious, late-night vibe of 'Enigma' - each track reflecting Carina's refined taste and instinctive ability to connect.

Back on his HIFI/LOFI home base, Franz Matthews continues his habit of turning up in unexpected sonic spaces. Night Tales finds him delving into a more introspective, deep, and melancholic palette, while preserving the organic warmth and groove-driven energy that define his ever-evolving sound.

 The EP’s opening tale, Again, takes us on a melancholic night ride through the ever-repeating ups and downs of life, where darkness and light follow one another in an endless cycle - soundtracked by an orchestra of lush synths, soft rhodes melodies, dreamy guitars, and Franz’s delicately crafted vocals.

Howling at the Moon dives deeper into the night, driven by hypnotic percussion, dark synth stabs, and haunting vocals that summon a sense of collective trance. The track builds toward a wordless vocal chant that feels both human and otherworldly, unfolding into a swaying, almost tango-esque groove where rhythms subtly intertwine.  Closing the EP, You & I stands apart — restored from a nine-year-old lost writing session, this nostalgic yet hopeful electronic pop track felt right at home within the EP, where its warm house textures and Lights Out’s delicate, heartfelt vocals wrap up these Night Tales with a timeless sense of longing and connection.
