The People’s Dance Collective is a producer/DJ that calls St Kilda, Australia home. 

After a history of organising renegade parties, like the illegal festival "Beach Weekender" and vinyl only nights, The PDC spent the summer of 2022/2023 DJing at Melbourne's floating oasis nightclub, ATET, brainchild of Jake Hughes. It was the perfect opportunity to road test his growing repertoire of PDC productions. Over the summer he supported some pretty big names including DJ Tennis, John Course, Donald's House and Boogs. 

The PDC also runs the mix series Deep House Melbourne, and has recently released an italo number on The Journey's label "Ugenius". 

The PDC is inspired by the euphoria of trance, the rugged nature of electro, and the deep emotional vibes of house. His sets are energetic journeys into forgotten gems and future classics. He inhabits a space where throwback deep house bombs sit comfortably with melodic, organic and afro house. 

An avid wax enthusiast, The PDC sees vinyl records as the heritage of the spirit of house music, to be rediscovered and shared at intimate and dusty parties. The process of stumbling on a sound outside the algorithm driven space of the world wide cyber cloud keeps the glowing embers of countless bygone underground scenes alive.
