One Lord's day afternoon in 2106 Grace, we were talking about writing hymns and Chris had this nice tune in mind that he wanted to put lyrics to. Well we basically suggested a couple bible verses that might fit the overall mood of the song, and then he fit these lyrics to the song. Well we went down to Melo's room closed the door and recorded the song right then and there. This hymn is just a small simple prayer to the Lord concerning running the race.

hi! i will be posting some very homemade recordings lol of original songs, most of which are inspired by enjoyment of Christ, and possibly some covers too! don’t know how consistent i will be 🤠 but after a long hiatus / creative drought i’ve been writing a lot lately so wanted to share!
